5850 is better.

While 6850 may score better for games, 5850 is better suited for computations like those performed when mining bitcoins.

5850 can easy go above 340 mhash/s (i myself got mine to 380)
and the Highest 6850 there is at 244 mhash/s with a oc to 980 core clock.

Ok. thanx for the answers but it seems that no shops have 5850 in stock anymore. I cant find it in my country. What do you recommend from 6xxx series for mining under 200 eur?

I have a 6950 yielding approx. 270 Mhps without OC. However, if you can grab a 5830 you get almost the same Mhps for half the price.

What SDK version do you use? Had a similar speed (266 @ 900 MHz) but then dropped to 248 after some experiments with SDK version and I can't figure out the cause. Using Win 7 SP1 x64, SDK 2.4 currently, and phoenix miner with phatk kernel on that particular machine.
