These pieces are very cool and definitely a neat way of storing your coins.
I have a couple of questions. Out of curiosity, how does a bar get double funded? Is the finding process automatic or are the Bitcoins manually sent from a freshly mined block?
Secondly, since you're dealing with a high amount of BTC, what form does the private key come in? Is it engraved into the bar?

When they hit 2 blocks back to back and can not change the script fast enough. The key is like Casascius and is mini key. Michail1 came up wth a nice how-to redeem guide

Heh, hope it doesn't come back to bite you starting the bid at 50 BTC instead of 50.7. I'd say theres a decent chance of Canary winning it at 50, due to the lack of people with 50 BTC laying around to bid with.

You're telling me most people don't have a secret wallet holding $30,000 of currency? huh, I guess I have to rethink priorities.

50.7BTC

Edit: Acutally will have to retract my bid because I won't be able to pay within 72 hours of the auction end date, and that shipping would be a huge hassle.

If shipping to USA won't be much of a trouble/no customs issues that I'm assuming you guys would handle.
