Thanks for notifying this but if this gets shut down another one pops out. I have also seen several similar types of fishing blockchain.info clone sites before and also some of them have sended fake emails to reset password or login to verify your account etc messages. Better to stay away from all of this clones/fishing sites, don't forget to check the URl on address bar everytime you visit your wallets or exchange platform.

Do not Google for it, if you know it. Just type your URL and you will not be caught by this. Kaspersky also auto detect, when you are

using sites with SSL security and offer you browser protection to protect your passwords. You should also use 2FA to protect yourself

further. I do not keep large amounts in these online sites for this very same reason. Use a hardware device like Trezor for bigger

amounts of coins or cold storage for even bigger amounts.  Wink

These fake sites impersonating legit sites have been on top of Google search for more than a year. I think the fact that they are still active is that no one is reporting them as being a scam site to Google.

Logging into your wallet from a browser is already known as being risky. Except these kinds of scams, there are also other huge risks: keyloggers, hackers and viruses. Also other physical threats like thieves. I'm using a very old laptop (2006) with a Live Linux CD which removes any change that has been made on it when you power it off. This means your data, cache, passwords, absolutely everything is being removed and the next time you boot you'll have a new, clean OS. This makes my laptop way more secure, and I trust logging on Blockchain from it. However, as I said, browsers can be dangerous. Therefore, I prefer using my secondary phone as a Blockchain wallet.

I think there are enough eagle eyed Bitcoiners who do report like mad. These are fresh sites that pop up every time. Even if you're only up for a few hours you might get lucky and milk someone of their coins.

That has been around for awhile now, i think blockchain themselves made a referance to it at one time.

This current one is indeed new, but there was one that has been on top for more than a year. Looking at the register date of the domain 2016-09-24 there is also another one created on exactly the same date which is block~chianes~.info without the two ~ of course. I just put it there so no one can accidentally click on it.

Maybe not new for all here but good that someone warn the others. Think that they made enough victims with such nasty adds on top of the page. Did anyone already report this adds to Google?

Makes no sense a huge company like google dont band or restrict any attempt to use a domain that might change the reputation of a company, in this case bitcoin i doubt if someone make a fake google if it will go live. Anyway its always and more and more need to becarful when joining or acessing our wallets, someday they will make those to exchanges and the result will be several coins losted.

It happened before. Couple months ago there was a site called "blockchaln.info" attempt to do exactly the same phishing tactic.
I am surprised that no one in google checks these sites before they include them in their ad program or maybe they are uneducated to the point they thought it is original wallet?

You can report this site as harmful and Google will investigate and take this ad down.
