Do u think ICO is Good or Bad

here are a LOT of people against ICO. and i have to agree with them at a certain point but not how i'm trading. I've join JWL, UBIQ, WAY, LSK, and so many more and always came up with good profit.  why? Because ICO coins are being pumped in the beginning, and i'm always dumping to take my profit home.

Maybe that is a reason why people hate ICO, as most likely they bought higher , the dev dump and price drops below ICO price and they are making a lose when dev still making big profit

as trader, i think it is always bad.
money brings money, and if you lock at ico you cant do nothing... even if it doesnt fail still bad.

Trading you can always profit. if todays wasnt good, tomorrow you can recover you losses, and in a month or two(like most ico's) you can do a good amount of profit and still buy the coin at the launch - sometimes cheaper than the ico.

This is the main reason many people enter ICO is to reap much profit from the very first pump , you will earn a better profit at a later time and i am not sure about any company that would gaurantee a sure shot profit in the long run,as many promising starts up closed their doors either due to hack or some other reason.Here many people are against ICO is simply because since this is not regulated scams are very common

This is true. Unfortunately it will never be like it was in the past. But ICO does bring professional developers who get paid to add features that we would not have seen.

ICOs are toxic to the cryptocurrency world. If you look at the number of cryptocurrencies in the top 10 that aren't ICOs and are projects that haven't been premined with real use cases and have a community then the list is quite small. From the top, Bitcoin, Monero, DigixDAO, DOGE(kind of). There are other projects that are growing and have much smaller marketcaps, but for the most part a lot of projects are just not genuine. The sad part is these projects attract developers with good intentions and people that join community who are interested in the tech, but the project is a ponzi. All I can say is do your due diligence and read guys.

that's the reason why most of them didn't came up and work well because of the early dumpers but those developers who already anticipated this kind of investors are willing to take their risk ico project like stratis and psb they have good support from the community after they went out from the ico the price still not being dumped so better check the usage of ico project that you will going to support and trust them to have some room to grow.

Let the market decide the opening price of a coin. Eventually miners and people putting in buy orders will meet in the middle and a price will be formed.

Depend on ICO and i would prefer those who got high volume of community and also have active devs that update some events and development of their coins like iconomi, but i don't want to hold or stake for longer months and just re roll the rest since i am afraid for ICO since their are many incident of ICO scam happened here and their are always be there making new coin who will trend.

Agree short term is good! If you are wise enough to trade with it. you cant earn a lot from short trade but we can say that you can always win from it Unlike long term trade something it will be dump then you will loose a lot from it

Genuine ICOs are always welcome but there were many cases when the devs used the ICO funds for their own benefits.
We can't ban ICOs as this will mean someone will have to come in to regulate the market which is very unpopular by crypto users.
The only solution is for users to educate themselves by doing research before putting in funds into an ICO.

ICO is only shown as a good thing, which means the idea of it is good but in reality those who are asking for ICO investment are 99.9% looking to scam and make some money out of it.
