Poloniex TRADING !!

Hi there,
I never used Poloniex before so I'm not sure If I screwed up or not. I went to https://poloniex.com/balances , I picked "BTC" , I clicked on "Deposit" an address showed up so I went into my wallet and sent bitcoins to however when I go to my history , I see nothing ? so how come?

First please check if your transaction is visible on the blockchain.
Then, even if you did everything correct you have to wait. It may take a good couple of minutes until polo will see it.
Then you have to wait for confirmation on blockchain.
It takes some 20-30 min util you can use your BTC on Polo.
I never had issues in the last 18 months.

It's visible on the blockchain yes . Should I wait for confirmations till It appears on the "My history" page or there is no need ? I assumed that It's not needed as there is a column named "Status (Confirmations)" so I'm not sure ...

It should show within minutes as unconfirmed (orange?).
Then, much later, after one confirmation comes, it should be green and available.
But quite a lot of time has passed, it should be by now green in https://poloniex.com/depositHistory

I have just deposited BTC last night in Poloniex.

The transaction is not shown in the Poloniex history page until it gets confirmed completely. I never get an experienced of that orange thing or any other status aside from green one. It will just shown the moment the transaction is complete.

Anyways, I will assume this query of yours is solved now.

I forgot to post on this thread , sorry. It seems like it works like harizen said , I don't have anything orange and the transaction only showed up on my history tab as "Completed" with green after having 1 confirmation +  a few minutes (5 minutes or something).
