Walks like a duck, talks like a duck, sounds like a duck...

It's most definitely a scam.

Just got this PM from GoldenAngel:

Hey mate,

Can you please send me some pictures of your ASIC avalon with a piece of paper saying 'Peterz' in it.

Its for an April fools joke and would be really appreciated!

Please let me know and I'll give you my email to attach pictures. Doesn't matter if its a bit late, still will be super funny.

I think I can help. All you have to do is list a bunch of stuff you find on the internet and claim you own them, then sell them for bitcoins. I think you know the drill.

Surface RT 32GB with Blue touch cover and 2 years warranty. It has Microsoft Office 2013 installed and is a great all round tablet. It is around 6 months old but I rarely use it as I ended up buying an i5 Windows Tablet.

Best offer in BTC and shipping convenience will win.

Here's what it looks like -

Please be aware there is some initial investment
We have a product.

SCAM!

Nice highlighted ignore. Your obviously a troll

And you're obviously a scammer.

BTW, about your PM asking me to delete this thread: Not gonna happen. 2 reasons: the first is that I'm not even a Moderator here, the second is that you need to ask everyone to delete their own posts, and only then the thread may be deleted.

Try harder!

Wow the amount of retardation is incredible and the people that gobbled this up without looking up the links. The 15,000 BTC was clearly in a joking manner. You obviously are special. Why are you mad? That I have an avalon and a 10 BTC coin? They were quite cheap last year. You sound more bitter than anything. If you had a brain (which we have established that you don't) LTC mining is completely different to BTC mining. IF i could be f**ked, I would go through your whole history and manipulate a little story. Nice life you have.

If you are going to scam and get mad at people in English it helps if YOU LEARN THE LANGUAGE FIRST.

OP has just created a new profile which is now trying to escape newbie's prison.

Every new account is a tiny improvement in his scammer skills.

Beware: 12 months and 100 accounts later he might actually be able to scam somebody.

Better yet, have Maxwell move the thread to the Swahili section after hazek edits all the posts, then blame it all on psy.  Grin

I may or may not be a hardware engineer and I may or may not be interested in joining your endeavor.
I can't give out too much information out at this point.

GoldenAngel,

What you propose and the way you propose it gives us too little security that it is not a scam.
In bitcoinland everyting that cannot be proven to not be a scam should be considered a scam.
This is just the harsh reality of bitcoin and what you see is the natural reaction of a community bitten once too often.
If you are in any way serious you should reconsider the way you propose your deal.

We are looking for a couple of people to launch an exciting new business which involves ASIC computers for BTC mining. I cannot reveal too much information because this is a twist on what people traditionally think of how BTC should be mined.

Looking to employ 2-3 people into the team. Serious queries only. Please be aware there is some initial investment so if you are not willing to spend money to make money do not bother messaging myself. We are not piggybacking anyone to riches.

We have a product. Now we need some marketing and a website established.

I look forward to reviewing some applicants.

Kindest regards.

You say you have a product. Why do you need investors?
You say you need marketing but ASICs sell themselfs. Why do you need marketing?
If you have a product you had at some point lots and lots of funding. Why can't you just hire someone for the website?

Good work, the amount of effort some people put into their scams is disheartening at best.

What a fun thread.  Can't tell which is better this one or where GoldenAngel asks JohnK to delete it.

Looking to redefine ASIC?  To what you ask?  How about 'Another Scam I C'  (as in 'Another Scam I see')  Wink
