RX 470/480 8Hz memory gets ~24-25MH/s Etherum.  Fury X from what I can tell gets ~29-34Mh/s, though memory has 2x the bandwidth.  Would Vega 10 GPU get ~45-50MH since GPU also faster?  From rumors, it will have same 512GB/s memory bandwidth as Fury X, though it will use HBM2 rather than HBM1.

I don't think so. Ethereum requires low latency VRAM, Fiji is more powerful than Hawaii, but it has the same hashrate. Vega might excel in other algorithms, but I doubt it's gonna get any more than 35-40Mh in dagger.

I can't find good numbers, best I found was this

There is a new Pseudo Channel mode that will lower latency, and effective bandwidth, not sure how much though, or how much this currently effects Ethereum on Fury cards.

Frankly, I don't care on how it will perform on Ethereum but rather on other algorithms. I doubt that it will ever overthrown the queen 1070 though.

Vega is a brand new chip, not a dual Polaris card.

I thought the title mentioned 490 originally, cant speculate on just the chip speed though

There is a rumored dual Polaris card called the 490.  We don't know names on Vega cards yet.

We don't know anything at all about Vega, waste of time to even bother speculating at this point.

This card has me most intrigued with Monero mining

AMD seems to beat Nvidia for XMR and I wonder if this card has that push to make XMR mining worth while. Mybe HMB2 memory is bad for Monero, I just know that this doesn't seem to be the ETH dream, that would be the GTX 1070 or the RX480 on a custom rom (high hashes, low power)
