Hello friends. Me and a couple of other guys are trying to start out some tournaments on pokerstars Home Games for btc. How it works: We collectively decide on a buy in, for example 0.05 BTCDepending on amount of players we decide how the payout should work (usually 50/30/20 to top 3) We send the btc to a trusted escrow that will hold on to it until the tournament is finished. We do polls on what game/s to play, structure etc. We do polls on when to start the tournaments. We use Play money for buy in so that players from all around the world can play (These chips are free, and we can do a buy-in of 10PM chips). If you are interested, feel free to PM me and I'll give you credentials to join the HomeGame club

I do not understand how to participate in the tournament
It's easy . 1. Download the pokerstars client (not the NJ version, any other works) 2. Log in or create an account. 3. Apply to our HomeClub (Details in messages above you here). 4. Get accepted and join the tournament that is up, all rules can be seen in our slack channel and in the tournament description. We are playing one game now for 0.01btc. Winner takes all, currently 5 players registered

If you are interested feel free to PM me. Think we have atleast 5 runners currently, goal will be a minimum of 10runners.
Cheers!

I am interested in joining this homegame club, bitcoin and poker were meant for each other. I am still a little confused about the funding process but I am in several homegame clubs already and I would love to participate and provide my support.

Interested in joining your fellow bitcoiners for a few games of friendly poker once or twice a week? Buy-ins will range from 0.01 BTC to 0.1 BTC (dependant upon interested parties). We will also consider playing for physical bitcoins..
If so, send either myself and Hhampuz a PM with your email address, and we will invite you to the Slack Channel that we created for this purpose.
Thanks!

Sending information to receive a slack invite now. However, I am a participating in many slack groups at the moment and I cannot guarantee that I could devote a great deal of time to slack at this point. I will do my part to provide my feedback though.

Good game! That was fun. Hopefully, we can find enough members to start running some bigger games. Maybe, set ourselves up a trust network here on bitcointalk until we get large enough games to need escrow. I still think an Ethereum smart contract could be drafted to take care of the payouts....maybe scrape the PokerStars data for results to import into the contract....just a thought.
