What are the primary lessons you earn after you gamble?

So obviously i am seeing more post saying that how to quit gambling for good, how to easily quit gambling, what are the other things should i do to forget gambling. but i doubt that the certain advises being said over and over again are being applied by those person so i am trying to switch the topic of telling instead the primary lessons that you learned after gambling that you can surely used in the future preference when you want to quit gambling.

gambling is mostly a game for fun and you don't really learn much from entertainment so i guess there aren't really much lessons that i have learned with gambling. although it has been helpful in some aspects like risk management and money management for me and coming up with strategies that are new and can help me have a better result in gambling. but nothing big and life changing yet!

When i was a newbie in gambling, First lesson i learned is never rage bet wherein when you get pissed you'll bet everything you have. Gamblers shouldn't do that because you'll not be able to recover if you bet all your chips, Second Lesson i learned is set a limit so that you can control yourself when to stop playing when you reach already this limit.

Your lesson 1 is pretty much effective, if pissed, either go out or stay calm and compose your self before betting again. I always do that, I even stop gambling when I am not in good mood anymore I am not feeling well. But, with your second lesson, I have a hard time doing that when I am still a gambler. I always end up either losing my bankroll or be satisfied with my win.

honestly, that is what i do when first doing gambling especially in dice. when almost lose all money, so i YOLO bet all chip that i still have and finish the game with lost then regret it. i think that happen to everyone who gambling for first time

Wel,  regretting  on  the  end  is   a  common thing for  most  gamblers  out there which  they   bet  all in and     lose  up  all  in an instant  and   murmuring  on the end that  he should not   do  that  thing  . Greediness  is the main reason  why  we  lose and we  should  not  do  that  on  regular  basis   when  we  do playing  gambling  because   losses  would surely pile   up. We  should not be greedy  on the  first place.

Gambling itself is not meant to be a lecture to educate you of some indepth knowledge. However, it is a good opportunities to observe how others gamble. Some of them can gamble until they dont care about their loves one. From there, you can learn how to appreciate things especially those around you and this is very important lesson to learn.

As far as I'm concerned, these "lessons learned from gambling", its use is not just for future reference.
I think it can also be applied in our day-to-day life.
 Control - we use this in gambling since we need to know when to stop, how much to play with, etc.
           - could also be used IRL, not buying unnecessary things/gadgets, learning to weigh the pros
              and cons of every decision we make, etc.

It's just that when gambling,people frequently encounter situations where they need to make decisions like, to continue or not, more vs less, etc . Constantly needing to weigh the pros and cons. Of course, not gambling in the first place is still the best control one could do.

You can do yoloing as you bet and that is also considered as all in. But if you lose then for sure just like what you said mates. You will just simply come back again and do gamble again. That's what I've learn from my many years of gambling as long as I have something in my wallet, I won't stop to gamble until I recover my losses.

These a re the golden rules everyone should try to follow and gambling can be awesome and relaxing.

Depend on your experiences on gambling, if you could manage yourself and avoid too much losses and fortunately makes profits, I won't quit gambling in the nearly future is the primary lesson. I don't have any excuse to quit gambling for now as long as I enjoyed it, the main reason is losing too much instead of get profits if I want to quit it for good.

Yeah, statistics will bite you in the butt the more times you play. You'll lose in the end, it's inevitable! According to statistic, even if the house edge is negative and you have an edge over the casino you will still lose everything if you play n-number of times. Because you don't have unlimited funds, and there would come a time that you may lose more than a hundred times even at 90% win chance. It may a really small chance, it will happen!

In my opinion, gambling is a great teacher who can teach us how to control our money and how to control ourselves. And he will punish us if we make any mistake in those lessons by take away our money. It is not always easy managing your money. Gambling will teach you how because if you can not absorb any knowledge from gambling, your money will "boom".

the primary lessons i learn after i gamble was dont be so greedy when you're losing because you could actually lose all your money in that way and dont be agressive while playing because you could lose your focus if you do that be chill at all times and dont mind if you're losing just try again in that way you could control the flow of the game and lastly dont play a gambling games you dont have knowledge about it haha.

Yes! its because some people don't know how to limit their gambling and Yes! its easy to quit gambling but to some people that are very addicted to gambling need some help they can really control their urge to play gambling and bet more and more so that's why we will open up a topic for us who controlled gambling in our way they need our words to fill them with Hope and guide them to their true nature back to their ordinary life and ease up gambling i do agree with you the advise are getting said over and over but people have the same problem people can't really learn much of

For me the primary lesson that I have learned in gambling is that never expect too much if you don't to get disappointed in the end, if you bet too big, don't expect that you will always win and brace yourself for whatever the results is because most of the time we got pissed and recklessly betting all the money or bitcoin that we have because we are not thinking clearly and calmly that is why in the end all of our bitcoin disappeared, making us more pissed and get addicted to gambling because we want to win back all the money or bitcoin that we have lost.
