At first gland, it is a very good initiative from the Bitcoin.org team to start a 'telegram' service for Bitcoin users to get the latest updates in the crypto industry. As much as Bitcoin user is mostly tech-savvy but some of us do not know how to use 'telegram.me' service. I am one of them to be honest. Would be good if you can tell us how can we 'connect' to Bitcoin.org Telegram.me service. I tried clicking on the links you have posted but my Firefox display error.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

It is good initiation however i don't think many people use telegram including me. Most of people atleast use twitter rather than telegram and i find their twitter channel https://twitter.com/BTCTN enough to get latest update and news. However i may check this feature also later on to see how it works.

This service is actually for bitcoin.com not .org
To use the service you could first download telegram from Google play then follow the above link or just try this one, should work fine: https://telegram.me/www_Bitcoin_com

What are the advantages for using this instead of subscribing to their newsletter or just checking their website?
I've never used Telegram, so don't know if it has any special features that make it better for receiving news.

The main advantages i have noticed so far is that you get the latest bitcoin news via telegram much quicker than waiting for the next newsletter to comes out.

If you want it will also alert you for whenever a new story gets posted, great for bitcoin writers and forum moderators so they can also get the news out quicker than the competitors who are trawling the net looking for stories.

Will it be free from Bitcoin.com's attempts to hijack the Bitcoin network away from the control of Bitcoin.org?
