It doesn't depends on luck only, if you think that it's no need for experience you are only playing those games that are mostly depending to luck. Skills and experience don't teach you how to beat luck, it teaches you to know "when to give up" and not feel regret for "ifs" and not make stupid impulsive decisions.
Its more of a philosophic learning rather than skill development, you learn to accept things and bear losses.
Talking about games like poker, i agree with what you said, you can be as skillful as possible, play as good of a bluff as possible and still end up loosing to a lucky player, bottom of the line, it again comes down to luck.

I wouldn't doubt that but if you are a gambler worth your sort you should be smart about what you've won and not gamble all of them away and think you mcan eternally beat the house. Those card games highly required some skills and experience but it's also good to be played by a newbie. When I was still new in gambling before I don't have that much experience nor skills when it comes to those card games. And I'm playing with those experienced card players and I can say that they have the advantage to bluff or scare those newbies when you are facing against them.
