That's true because there is a big difference between skilled based and luck based games, you won't last in luck based games
due to house advantage. However, to be profitable in a skilled based games like poker or sports betting, you need to have a skills to do it, but in reality

I do think for those games it is actually more in your luck and not much in the experience that is because you can't do anything but just press a button or just pull a lever to play. You can't adjust any settings in the game and get more wins but there is one thing that experience can be used is when you know if that machine has already been won or not and to see which machine is potential of winning but mostly it is more on luck than experience.  

We all need experience on playing gambling no matter what game it is, playing without any experience or without any knowledge either is a too risky thing to do for me, because your lose could be predicted. The only time that i believe really matters is when you believe it's right to just say either i have loss or won enough for the day. But with the games itself, Its allabout luck and nothing else.
