Just took this NAS controller in on a liquidation pallet from a US State Government auction. 6 Servers, NAS storage plus a Nortel system and 4 port KVM switches. As tempting as this is for me to setup and run myself. I just dont have time.
This Power vault unit would make for a nice array for mining HDD cryptos MAID and STORJ come to mind. The unit came with older 73 and 146 GB 15K SCSI drives. There are 15 drives total 9-143 GB and 7-73 GB. The unit will ship without drives. There are 2 hot swappable PSU's and both controllers are included.
Its' really heavy, so shipping would be costly. Units like this are selling for $75 to $100 minus drives + shipping on eBay. If there is any interest, I can ship to a US address only, or offer local pickup. I'm located near Tampa Florida.

Dell servers on hand if there is any interest, you would need a server to set up the NAS arrays, the 6850 has the NAS card and I have the cables.
