rpcminer-cuda-mod do not work on coinotron.com?Huh thanks

You are probably trying to use the stratum protocol. Use a local stratum proxy or switch to the getwork protocol if they support it.

Otherwise, post the command you are using.

Hmm, might have to try and build one myself. Just tried using the last pre-built files and they didn't work.

You need to be more specific.

I can build the latest if you can't.

As in, I copied the files from that link into the bin folder and tried running the cuda win32 file from there.

If you could build the latest one, that would be appreciated. I'm not as advanced in programming and IT as I used to be, given it's been a good few years since I last tinkered around with PCs. I'm used to just unzipping files into directories, then clicking on the appropriate executable file and away I go, like how cbuchner1's CUDAminer app works.

I meant, specifically what errors are you getting Smiley

Anyway, I have built the 32bit versions and put them in:

Thanks! Ok, just tried running it and I got the following error message:

C:\Mining\RPCMIN~1\RPCMIN~2\bin\win32\RPCMIN~1.EXE
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:0e4b IP:0528 OP:63 6f 6e 74 65 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application

I'm running a GT 220M, so that could be an issue. If it also helps, it uses Compute Capability 1.1. Would be nice if I could just take the relevant code from cbuchner1's program and adapt it to something like CGminer, which I know normally works fine with my laptop, but my C++ programming skills are too basic at the moment to be able to do that.

I've been able to get up to about 190MH/s out of a normal GTX 680 but its still really not worth it.  You can get double that for a card half the price.

I just tried this on c2075. The result agrees well with the c2050 card (107mH/s). There is fluctuation (from 70 to 140).
If I run ufasoft or cgminer I get 98mH/s. So there is ~10% improvement. Thanks.
btw I find a 100+% improvement of LTC mining speed with cuda optimization here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167229.60.

I am using this to mine PPCoin on coinotron. The setup is the same as in my post #195 . There were 144  this
Code:
Found nonce 3FD7CA5E
2013-05-05 13:54:53 Found Hash!
within a period of 100 minutes. But coinotron only reported 19 shares. What is really strange is that the average kh/s reported by coinotron agrees with the hashrate printed by the miner on average. That means the rate at which my miner finds shares seen by the pool is correct, but the "Found Hash! " is 7-8 times too often. Why is that?

EDIT: earlier port #

The fluctuation come from you "slow" card. The summery is build every 30 sec. It can be that some times the count goes to the next or previous intervall. A drop is also possible if you get no connection to the getwork server. The best is to use the http://mining.bitcoin.cz/mining-proxy-howto stratun proxy. If you use them you get better and smoother results.

I have never test the miner with PPCoin. It looks like many rejected hashes.
