Is monero to blame ? Hell no.

unless you did not know, the Exit scam of that market also took a lot of bitcoins, but I do not need RIP Bitcoin in your title.

Monero is far from being robust as BTC, but they are doing a good job and we can say that it has an interesting future ahead.

Mymonero wallet was not hacked, they were down because of a DDOS attack but no coins stolen.

Get your facts together.

This is basically the MTGox of Monero - let's see how it all plays out. It has lost a lot of value in a short span

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the world, and lose his own soul?

Don't you think the Darknet market will support a better coin and that one day they'd be up again?

There are far better coins that has better feature than Monero i guess and so those who tried supporting it had thought of moving to those better coins such as SDC i guess. I personally have supported SDC myself and have bought some.

How many things have you bought or sold on Dark Markets ?

oasis exit scam <> the end of monero
mymonero wasn't hacked, it was just down some time because of DDOS...

That is sad, if it's true. But at the end of the article it said something about AlphaBay being back up. None the less, I really hate seeing people get manipulated and lose their money in such a fashion.

THe only reason for the big pump was the usage in the darnet. Now that this is gone I think it will go down much further

When something gains value because it gains usability it's not a 'pump'... Xmr is a unique coin, do some research instead of parotting idiots...

I like the theory in the article that the market operator colluded in the pump so they could run away. I don't know if it's true. and what's the deal with this mymonero wallet?

nope, just regular speculation because of gaining usability (sigaint, alphabay, oasis) and great technology (cryptonote, ringct, i2p, ...) and better monetary proposition than bitcoin (opaque blockchain --> fungibility), not an orchestrated pump...

xmr is unique, research and you will find out for yourself...

best regards

theories are just that, theories... makes for a good bedtime-story, nothing more...

no deal with the mymonerowallet, just FUD... checked my coins, all is there, I believe they were ddossed, doesn't mean coins are gone...

Monero was recognized by soem darkmarkets to be most anon coin and was given to users chance to use it.  That is what boost price of monero up.

Apparently darkmarkets close quite fast so in future expect many more to close. And also many to adopt Monero.

Most trades will be still made in BTC so as was on Oasis. Lets hope that BTC will nto collapse now since they lost one market.
