We need professional design for HEAT coin / badge symbol and herewith start a contest open for anyone. The final design is supposed to be used as the symbol for the HEAT token, and may or may not be used in other materials of Heat Ledger Ltd such as company logo.

Competition is open until Sunday October 16th midnight unless closed prematurely or extended. Multiple rounds to qualify the best designs and decide between their improved iterations may be needed.

Guidelines:

- the design should include a HEAT symbol sitting on a badge / coin style format
- the design may include the text HEAT, it's however not mandatory
- versions displayed should be 16 x 16 pixels and 256 x 256 pixels for each entry
- larger resolution (up to 1024 x 1024 pix) needs to be available before winner is paid the bounty

By paying the winning prize of 1 BTC Heat Ledger Ltd receives all rights to the provided design from the designer.

Wow! That must be really a very big bounty for a logo designing. (I just break my head  Angry for not sharpening my graphics skills  Angry )
I remember Heat Ledger signature campaign with avatar too. Are you planning up any rebranding, with new logo ?

Heatleadger is a  registered company. They already paid more than that in signature campaign and other competition. They won't harm their reputation just for 1BTC.

I agree with you 1btc is  not big  for them  in able for them  to make  it as  a  bounty  for creating their  new  logo.

Something is Very Shady Here..:

1: OP is bidding for account sales (account farmer)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1634835.msg16441372#msg16441372

2: applying for micro tasks:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=879468;sa=showPosts
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1606718.msg16132406#msg16132406

3: tried to participate in a signature design contest (seems he himself a graphic designer)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1632480.msg16422166#msg16422166

4: official heatledger bitcointalk account is:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=337427

5: the signature campaign OP is talking was for Heatledger.com not for heatledger.net.
there is no connection between both.
Heatledger.com is a crypto currency and this guy is talking about a brand new forum...

What I understand is:

1: it is just a scam attempt. a brand new forum with few members can not afford (and don't even need) to make a logo., they are using Heatledger name in their forum. don't know why.

2: Second reason is he's just a spammer and copy/past (so called) graphic designer and want to take designs from here and then want to apply in the official contest.
(my second point is possibly wrong. according to OP he just shared their thread here and not related to them)

but the truth is this post is not officially from Heatledger.com/.net..

(I'll be very happy if I am wrong...
prove me wronge by:
1: Escrow the funds.
2: Post a comment with the official heatledger bitcointalk account.

not only OP. I think the heatledger.net is also not related with the heatledger company. it is just a  brand new forum with 40 newbie members.
I tried to find any mention or statement regarding relation of heatledger.com and heatledger net in the bitcointalk official post and in the heatledger.com site but I dont found anything. (don't know if they said somewhere in 69 pages of the thread, I just read the main post and last two pages)

That negative feedback is just a fales/fake feedback given with a fake reference. people who know me they know that very well this account is not a bough one..
(BTW what is the relation of that with this? we are talking about something else not about my account and reputation)

if you are just sharing their contest then you don't need to vouch for them(you did above) you have to do some research before sharing such things in this forum..
did they escrowed funds? I don't see anything regarding escrowing in their forum.

you used the reference of the heatledger signature campaign. even you know that campaign was not for this forum.. that was for the heatledger currency...

and read what I said before calling me a spammer:
(I'll be very happy if I am wrong...
prove me wronge by:
1: Escrow the funds.
2: Post a comment with the official heatledger bitcointalk account.

Instead of arguing me. you should PM the Heatledger official bitcointalk account to come here and verify this if they heatledger.net also their site and they are running that logo contest..

edit: I've edited and adjusted my first post.

-snip-

I agree with what Ardenyham said above. By posting about the contest you are referring to contest where prize is not secured. Participation in such contest will be useless if they don't pay.

I believe all the conflicts will get resolved once OP opts for having escrow. Or any confirmations from the people who dealt signature campaign and other activities, still escrow would be the right solution here imho.

I'm the founder of Heat Ledger Ltd. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1543991

http://heatledger.net is the official forum for HEAT.

The OP of this thread offered to promote the contest for more visibility and is apparently doing good job at it.

Logo contest bounty and other possible payments are paid directly to the winners by Heat Ledger Ltd, a registered Finnish company that collected about 1600 BTC worth of cryptocurrency in its ICO ending in August.

Thanks for your interest in contributing to a perfect symbol for the HEAT token!

always better to escrow the funds as maybe there a lot of people not really know much about this heat ledger Ltd reputation , feel free to use it or not but yeah there is no harm to escrow the funds to make people more comfortable. goodluck.

I'm in 400,000 euros debt , dont help me , i rather die

Looks like you're right. It's also weird that the logo that been used on the forum is different to the actual logo of heatledger.com . But, why would anyone start a 1BTC contest for a logo of company which actually does not belong to him/her?

Anyway, one official post from the heatledger will clarify all of this.

Looks like you read the thread till my that post and clicked qoute botton without reading below posts. LOL..
The Owner of Openledger.com already confirmed that the dot.net forum also their product.
It is strange for me because this forum doesn't suit with the Openledger company. BTW  everything start from basic. so it is usual..

Escrow is still needed. it is a term of saving funds. not a big deal.
