To promote a website here in this forum,
- People are making announcements thread in announcements section.
- Next step may be running a games and rounds to give away some freebies. Freebies will get more promotion usually.
- Signature/avatar and social media campaigns are other known ways to  promote.

I think so. as far as I know, people promote something here by posting on the appropriate section, announcement or service section.

the other way by using signature campaign, but I don't think it's a good way nowadays. so I think it's better to promote to social media such as facebook on crypto related groups, twitter, instagram, etc.

All suggestion is good and really effective to gain more traffic in advertisers site but the question is, does they have money allocated for advertisement? Can they afford to pay people to promote their site? I think the main issue here is money, if they doesn't have that well he cant get great exposure and if they plan to advertise for a little while i think this is not a great idea since people can forget easily if the site advertisement is gone.

This is  the most  important thing  to consider  if   you have  plans  on  marketting   your site up on  different forms but i assume that   OP have the  money though hence hes asking already  on how   to promote the site  , we still dont  know   if  he has  the  money allocated for  it or  none.  Marketting  on a certain site would be very  important so that  they would be aware on the existence on your website and could  able to give potential profits on you  on the long run. Better  to lend  some  budget on it rather than nothing at all.

   Put your promoting website to the right place in this forum like in Announcement Section
   Must be attractive to the eyes of the viewer
   If it is an online game or game website, better put it on games and rounds or in gambling
   Make some giveaways if it game
   The content must be informative.
Make an social media campaign ( that's one way here in the forum - what we called signature campaign but you will release enough btc for that)
Try to promote it to faceboook, twitter, instagram or any social media account that you have.
Try make some exchange on visiting your site like other is doing.

Go social, get a Facebook page and a Twitter account, get great content, schedule the posts, then start promoting. That's how you get the wheels rolling.

There are so many ways to advertise a site. Social media like facebook, twitter or instagram are good for advertising because theres a lot of people are using these sites. Also if you want to adverstise here, you should create a signature and avatar campaign. You can choose ways thats suits you. But i suggest hire a campaign manager here.
