can i plus one new GPU to them. ( for example One R9 290x   or  R9 470) ?

this is an alt coin question.  to answer your question  let me look that psu up

is this your psu?

http://www.raidmax.com/power-supplies_rx-1000gh.html

it uses 2 rails 60 amps  each

 http://nebula.wsimg.com/f004abc91134b75341152b7a59e5788c?AccessKeyId=DA64EA8F167C2341D75F&disposition=0&alloworigin=1

total of 972 watts max  which means you need to watch how you load it up.

software is kind of worthless your best shot is attach the pc to this

https://www.amazon.com/P3-P4400-Electricity-Usage-Monitor/dp/B00009MDBU/ref=sr_1_1?

and see if you are doing 600 watts at the moment  if you are at 600 watts I think you can add 1 rx 470 like this

https://www.amazon.com/MSI-RADEON-470-GAMING-2Displayport/dp/B01JS9F9K4/ref=sr_1_1?

I don't think adding an r9 290x can be done.

The 390X will consume about 240W, the 380 and 280 will consume 160W each, so the total is 560. You can add one 290x without problem.

The 390X will consume about 240W, this means it's possible for my ss 520w psu can handle 2 390X?

The 520W cannot handle two 390X unless you undervolt and under clock the R9 390X to consume about 200-220W.

is not wise to run a psu 100% of his loat 24/7 ... more over it depends on the amper you ahve on the 12v rail.... a psu has many rails (3 5 and 12 volts...
ie : i have an enermax revolution 87 850w

it is rated 840w at 12v but  can give up to  970w if u consider also 5v and 3v

if your psu is rated at 12v 520w then u can plug 2 cards but make sure you undervolt em a lil and make sure you have a quality psu
