While creating this topic, bitcoin is standing at 618 USD. So I want to know your prediction for the year of 2017. What is the milestone you have targeted?

Will it be able to hold its strength at 750 USD by the end of 2017? Voice your opinions.

Nice remainder we have here, and in same time indicator where we was and where are we now in just few months period. Yes bitcoin have strength to hold 750 and 850 and 1000, that is clear now to all people, and that is not finished story, bitcoin can rise more.
By the end of 2017 bitcoin will worth more then now, where will it settle its hard to know, I think over 1300 $ is very reasonable prediction, 300 $ in one year is good rise.

Good to see some old prices of bitcoin in this thread. I remember the start of 2016 and we were about 300$ per bitcoin. and after one year in jan 2017 we were 1000$. 700$ price increase is one year is really a great achievement and i think we should be happy with such growth rate.

All of us will be surely happy on bitcoins price increase because we do love to see it goes to the moon even though there are price dips but still bitcoin does still manage to increase its price compare on the last years which we could really see bitcoins potential for long term.

I remembered it also ,when bitcoin sinking below 200$ in the month of january and thats the time that im losing my faith to bitcoin, i thought it would be the end of bitcoin but im wrong about it.

You are right that is the fact that in the current year the price of bitcoin will increase much higher and all of hose who will invest their money in bitcoin then they will not face any lose in fiat and will benefit from the price increase of bitcoin due to mass adoption.

I think it's still early for the price to reach some value in the range of $ 10,000 or something. But I think that studies that point to a value above $ 2,000 make sense. Price has always been, and will always be a result of supply and demand, and Bitcoin is a very scarce currency, able to solve the problems of many people. So I see no reason to say that Bitcoin can not rise in value this year.

In my opinion , by the end of 2017 bitcoins price will be around 1500 dollars. It wont go more than that. If it goes also chinese government will definitely take some action against it crashing bitcoins price and maintaining it around 1500 dollars because most of the bitcoin traders are chinese and if the bitcoin price started to increase means it will weaken yuan. So in my opinion bitcoins price will be around 1500 dollars by the end of this year.

This year 2017 my was to saved 1 bitcoinBTC with the minimum amount before end of this year, I really, really do believe that 1000$ almost bitcoin will level up to the next level of price value which next after this year is from 2000$-4000$, that's I keep saving it as much as I can.

Yes but we never know when this price is going to rise again in the next year or may be fall off back to $300. Because bitcoin price is still volatile until today and we can't really predict the future of this thing. May be some big holder of bitcoin will do something on this year. We never the truth until the price change itself

Whatever they do, I am pretty sure that is for the bitcoin to increase its value. If they choose to make a dump, think that it is only for a short period of time and they are only doing it to take advantage of the weak hands who sells directly without thinking. This year will be the start of the new success of bitcoin as we are about to break the all time high.

In my opinion , by the end of 2017 bitcoins price will be around 1500 dollars. It wont go more than that. bitcoin is trading already in 1000 USD level while it is just the 2nd month of 2017. so i can expect that the price of bitcoin will cross 1500 USD in middle of this this month. may be in jun or July. but after that bitcoin will continue its journey and will cross 2000 at the end of the 2017. there is still too much potential in the price of bitcoin and therefore i am no felling hesitation to invest in bitcoin even in this stage.

Nothing big will happen in 2017 regarding the price. There will be pump and dump like always, maybe in some period price will go to 700 but I don't think that we can reach 1000. At the moment nothing aims to that.

Yes, because this is business so there will be ups and down. But im aiming that the bitcoin price will go higher this year. Lets always remember that being on the top of success there's always challenges to survive.

Indian, venezuela, both was adopting bitcoin caused by the economics problems. and it can pull the adoption of bitcoin and the increased price at the same time and I think a lot of the inflation will be happening asap because I was determining from the global economics.

I think we are going to see some mild roller coaster rides for the price of bitcoin on the chart. On an average, I think we might reach $700 mark on the lower side whereas $1,200 mark on the upper side (safest figures). There will be some golden opportunities for both kind of traders (the bulls and the bears) in this year but from the end of this year, we can expect sustainable growth.

I would go conservative here and just say around $1400 - $1600.  that is if ETF is not approved.  But if it is, i think Bitcoin will eventually reach $2,500 or more since it will have a great effect to other nation, and even to those hesitant investors.  The approval of ETF will certainly clears Bitcoin of all the doubts.

Well we hope that this kind of dip will happen but, it seems Bitcoin had left the $800 price already.  If you remember the last Bad Press, Bitcoin easily recover from the dump and now staying at 1k again.  Though, I am not saying that it is impossible but maybe it will really need a very bad press to take bitcoin back to $800 or sub $800.

My prediction is that bitcoin bitcoin will be more rise and shine and i hope  bitcoin will be double its price in this year and a lot of people will get a big profit from bitcoin easily in this year.
