I've don't have to worry about my electricity bill for the next 4 years (yay college!!). However, I've never ran a miner before (rented miners for altcoins online a bit in the past but I don't think that counts). Should I bother purchasing a miner for whatever altcoins I'm bullish on? Is it hard to get started? Would you recommend trying it in a college dorm setting?

free electricity is nice to have , but the big question is how much amps you can pull from the wall , how you can deal with heat and noise Smiley
