In my opinion its hardware. Majority of cloud mining sites are turing out to be scam why waste money and not that good either. Whereas if you do some initial investment in hardware for mining you will be making profit in no time, but only if you are willing to mine alt coins right now mining bitcoin is not that much profitable.

Hardware mining of course, When we are entering something new, We first check if it's legit or not. Most cloud mining are scams and you will not be able to call yourself a miner if you're using cloud mining. Yes, running own mining is simply similar to running our own business whereas cloud mining are equivalent depending on others and investing into others business. Cloudmining sites are just  using  sweet  high returns  to lure people  on their website and would invest but in the end those people are  just being scammed by the website. Hardware mining is really good compared on so called cloud mining. but you would really need lots of money to invest on hardware mining.

Hardware mining  is  too far away better than those cloud  mining scam schemes  out there.  The  big issue  here  is the  money/capital  to  invest on  hardware mining because  as we all know asic miners  doesnt cost  cheap and   you would really need   huge amounts to start with it. Maintenace would be  important to consider and also the energy cost  on your place  in able to calculate your profits.

Especially if you do live in a country which the electricity bill is  quite high and the maintenance of your device is really not that easy that is why cloud mining is build. Especially if we have plan ether coins because we still have VGA cards if is not profitable for mining and we can sell them again. most of the cloud mining is a scam site and the return profit is so slow and contain high risk being scam, so i better choose hardware mining even though it need a lot of money to start but i have the total control of the mining so the percentage being scammed is very low, so I really recommended hardware mining and stay away from cloud mining

I would only do cloud mining if it was the government who try to help their citizens other than that i would be very vigilant. Exactly especially in our place in which electric bills are really quite painful in the ass.
