I'd say your optician is well qualified for his/her job. Smiley Smiley

Is this a silent auction?  Nobody knows what the other bids are?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I think the problem is the closing date. If someone wants to spend more than 200btc he wants the machine now. Dont wait 15days more where the machine could mine for the buyer. Just my 2 fiatcents :p

Perhaps.  I think the fact that I am insisting on a local transaction is narrowing the audience a lot as well.

Would a 7 day auction be more reasonable?  I accommodate that if that's what potential buyers want.
How about bidding in BTC vs USD?  I would like to get paid in USD at the end of the day, so it doesn't matter to me either way.

A 24 hours auction would be much more reasonable. People feels the heat when the fire is close

I will cancel this auction as the terms may not be agreeable to many.  I reserve the right to re-list this auction with modified terms.

Thanks everyone for your input regarding this auction!

Please consider this auction closed.  I will lock the thread.
