Bitcoin Wallet v3 for Android phones is now ready for a round of beta testing. We need bug reports and feedback:

   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=150588.msg1600026#msg1600026

For the first time, this release should sync up and set up ~immediately, as well as being much faster and more stable in general. If you've previously tried this app and found it to be too slow or crashy, please try again and see if it's any better.

Although the new version is smaller and starts fast, it's still a true P2P app that uses simplified payment verification, just like always. It is the most purely decentralized experience available on a smartphone.

Also - if you test it, please let us know if it works for you!. It's hard to judge whether the software is ready to go if people don't say anything when it works properly. Otherwise all you hear is the failures.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.
