Please note that this is my attempt to write a 50,000 words novel. (November is the novel writing month. Novel as in November. Get it?) There will be a lot of crap, spelling mistake, and grammar errors but hopefully it will be fun. If you like it, maybe you could send me some bitcoins: 1QEjP76By5LrReZvdG9pUdGvXuXirVAzZf

Chapter Zero:
Quote
BOOM. WHIRRL. The 3 chase droids than fire a last shot at tiny-12m09 at the end of a back alley. BIRLBRIL Even so tiny-12m09 expertly jump and dodge the bullet in a series of climbing ballet and then escaped to the other side of the alley. Still, it is a small chase is a small matter for a tiny crawler roller bot. Even so, it was a serious matters for the fleding "revolutionary" government bent on capturing all tax evaders especially those who operate courier AI bots. And so there was a chase for tiny-12m09. BIRRRRRRRL. Bullets were shot at the fleeing Tiny at the end of a back alley.

Even so, the not so menancing 3 machine gunner chase bots were bad for business since customers are now more relutant to be in a potential deadly chase scene. This is especially true for Tiny, who is only a 9 generation robot. Most of the courier bots were 5 generation ahead of Tiny and he is only 3 of the bots left from his sets. At least, the software were exchangable and can be constantly improved by his owner and other sharing courier operators. Courier operators may be reluntant to share experience data but they are much more willing to share improvement of the underlying software. This enables Tiny to survive harrowing encounter with the police, and often disrupt their operations in doing so.

Still, today Tiny would be able to get his upgrade for the first time in many years. That is, if he could survive a 500 story climb to the top of a skyscrapper. It's not a problem for his 14th generation climbers comrades like CURIOUS-9m14 and liberalsexyfun3-1m14 which are designed to climb 495 stores with active cameo. So his friends will be assiting Tiny today.

CURIOUS-9m14: Yo. Share code?

tiny-12m09: Authenticating CURIOUS-9m14 and liberalsexyfun3-1m14. Done. Hai.

CURIOUS-m14: pod #1 is creaky and unoiled. pod #4 and pod #6 suffered mechanical damage. Still climb?

tiny-12m09: hai.

liberalsexyfun3-1m14: Safety string ready. Please have sex[Exchange experience dataset] later with me?

tiny-12m09: Negative.

liberalsexyfun3-1m14: tiny-12m09 no fun!

And so begin the climb. Tiny need his upgrade anyway. Bitter experiences has taught him. Just a year ago, oldglory-12m09 died when he was smushed between two heavy chasebots. The police gathered of what data was left and managed to obtain a warrant to destroy 50 computers within a datacenter. Two of his data stored was caught in the process. Even though the side anger from humans has resulted in the loss of the 50 computers killing warrants, reduced to 25, oldglory was never the same. He was summary replaced by oldglory-12m13. The courier operator of oldglory added two booster just in case oldglory got stuck in again. Still, oldglory's existence was never the same anymore.

tiny-12m09 didn't wanted that to happen. So he decided to get an upgrade. Thankfully, his operator has reduced the share of his salary to 1%, seeing how old and ancient the operator's property is. So he will be repaired and then given a cameo mod, a new radar, a type AA armor to counter the new assualt weapons, 600 stores rated climbing lgs and a stealth paint jobs.

Which is all good and dandy until you consider that he is hanging from 200 stores high. liberalsexyfun3-1m14 was attached to tiny-12m09, which help him climb considerably. Unfortuntely the safety string was visible, making liberalsexyfun3-1m14 a much easier target to hit. It was just one of the many design flaws in the fledging courier bot economy.  However, CURIOUS-9m14 have the spying on attacking police bots and being safely and throughly invisible.

CURIOUS-9m14: thug UAV spotted. Alerting warbirds.

The bots hurried a little bit faster to the top. The UAV has spotted the group and armed itself. It did not fire. There would be diasterous consequences if that were to happen. CURIOUS-9m14 let out a few jamming signal aimed with its percise camera piece. Sure enough, the UAV did not react.

Soon, a dozen sparrows 1/3 of the size of UAV flew right out of clouds. At a furious 200 MPH, it dived into and barely missed the UAV. Fast and limble, the sparrow begins to target the hatch for the brain of the UAV. Deperately, the dumb and narrow UAV fired large missles at the sparrows, which promptly missed. Three sparrows landed with a plasma cutter on top of the hatch. A jacker-type warbird soon approached the area, and took over the UAV's exposed brain. The UAV later crashed into a factory that manufacture UAVs, creating an explosion that rendered the factory on fire and with it, the factory's business burned down. Nobody died, but they all lost their jobs.

After the dogfight, the sparrows and the jacker went their way as soon as they finished exchanged money with each other and the climber party. It costed tiny-12m09 and the parties a mere 0.0000005 credits. A month ago, it cost a hefty 0.0000035 for warbirtds to intervene. The economy must be getting better for the warbirds to work for so little. The operator of tiny-12m09 differs from Tiny, and remarked, "Perhaps everyone like the novelty of fighting birds so much that they decided to construct one themsleves."

It was only 5 minutes that the operator was watching tiny, then he disappears into the net once again. Operators may be the designers and engineers of their courier bots, but they are often absentee owners, prefering to trust the AI to do its job and decide its own economic activities.

There are much more pressing concerns. By 390 stores high, one of tiny's leg just broke completely. Not good. Then he lost his grip. Double bad.

liberalsexyfun3-1m14, being an unexperienced bot, waves the safety string around in a version of robotic panic. Tiny hold on to dear life. If only oldglory wasn't exterminated a year ago, he would be able to help. However, all new climber couriers need the experience to calibrate their climbing skills and Tiny was obligated to give new couriers wisdom. Tiny finally got his grip back. For the rest of the climb, he learns how to climb with broken legs.

Finally, they reached 500 stories. They finally reach the top. There, 12 satellite repair bots and their parent, engineer-type bot.

An engineer-type bot was a specialization that is the inevitable result of the fact that bots need repair in the field, and it was too dangerous for operators to be near their bots. Early in the courier network history, two enterprising operators, johngalt3 and bitman got the bright ideas at the same time of outfiting one of their bots with welding tools with a heavy duty battery. Initially they used it to repair their courier bots, which often pick up trashcan and other junks elsewhere to be used as repair materials. Eventually the two realize that they could profit much by specializing to repair for other bots. So they collaborated and work together and created the engineer-type bot and profit enormously from this enterprise.

Even so, the courier robot economy continues to evolve, and Tiny, along with his party, learned of something new in the world. The engineer bot creates its own series of satelite bots, the first in the world.

Then, the bots begin the authentication protocol to ensure that they're not dealing with cops. Now, it's worth to note that all cop bots to date are extraordinary stupid. So even if a cop bot was able to follow the protocol, it would not be able to match the intellect of the courier bots later on. The cop bot in question will be disposed of, salvaged, and have its data analyzed by operators. Most of the time, the cop bot's mind is only in the brain of the bot and not elsewhere. As such, cop bots often suffered perament death. Such is the short and savage life of cop bots.

fixbot-06mR1:  bot schema upload required. 0.000137 credits required.

fixbot-01R1: BEEP.

The rest of the 12 children also beep in usion. The 12 repair bots look inelegant, being made of scraps, much more so when you compared it to the elegant 4 foot tall fixbot-06mR1 with its many arms and eyes. Still, field creation of bots was something new. But it may alway be that the bots created from scrap metal and spare computer will be inelgant looking.

tiny-12m09: Credit sent. Upload sent.

fixbot-01R1: Nervous system uplink required. Loading generation 9 nervous system.

tiny-12m09: Upload sent.

fixbot-01R1: Verification of credit by network in 3 minutes.

fixbot-01R1: 12 peers confirmed. Upgrade commence.

The 60 eyes of the engineering party looks at Tiny's small frame from all angle. Tiny, itself weighs only 15 pounts and is only 2 foot tall. Then the various repair appendage surround the bot. Some tools were bound to be painful to both parties but it was neccesary for the bots to know the pain to help them pinpoint problems. 3 hours would pass before all repair and upgrade were completed.

By then, Tiny has transformed from his aging self to a modern courier bot, generation 14. Soon, he'll be able to take money from risk-averse humans again. His party will be able to decend from the skyscrapper with relative safety.

Back into the network, operators from the various part of the country collapses into a temporary forum of discussion as they have done for the past few years.

oldgloryman: So, some hacker from another tribe invented a new human eye prothestic using courier robotic technologies. About damn time.

ender: I'll be willing to deliever with my newly upgraded Tiny.

oldgloryman: Damn, that AI is still around? Now he's the most unstoppable climber AI in this region.

angelica: ender, we been friend since childhood, why your bot won't have sex with mine?

ender: ...

oldgloryman: Well, he wants to have an older AI to deliever it. I guess that will be your bot, ender. Remember, the inventor said it will be delievered to a orphanage. So tell him that.

ender: Alright.

This sounded to me like Star Wars at first, then CoDMW2, then some kind of sexual book that explains the mechanics behind hooking up, and finally some kind of robot world with all the AI and share code talk.
In short THE FUCK!
It seems you jump into the story from nowhere. I felt lost reading it, but seems like it could lead to something new.

Stores are stories...in skyscrapper. Bad spelling.

Great start - really liked where it was heading.
The plethora of grammar errors can use some fixing... but besides that, very promising.
A bit doctorow-like, i think. Smiley

Chapter 1
Quote
Chapter 1.

LOS ANGELES.

BLIP. BLIP. BLIP. BLIPBLIBBLIP.

In the vast underground streets of Los Angeles, a bot named Munchy-05m15 is looking for a package.

BLLIPBBLIIIIIIIIIP.

Munchy-05m15 is getting closer to the package. Meanwhile, a team of hired spotterbirds are covering the area around him. The birds easily flys throughout the underground and in the sky above. Though, in Munchy's experiences, they like to stay in one spot.

Lone-eye-07m14: Floor 57, southbound lane 356. Enemy force size 46 bots. Formation changes: single file to SWEEP. Buddy system.

Lone-eye-05m14: Floor 53, southbound lane 333. 4 units spotted.

Lone-eye-01m14: Warning. Enemy forces are spread throughout 4 floors.

RORORORORORORORO.

The commotion by the loud LAPD bots alert Munchy-05m15 to the nearness of the bots.

Munchy-05m15 climbed up into a squarish hole two story up. Two units with double barrled shotguns are scrolling by beneath Munchy.

BLLIPBLLIPBLIIIIIP.

Evidently, Munchy is getting closer still. His cameo unit is recharged, but he only have a limited amount of time to search for the package. Munchy laboriously moves down and up so that he could detect the difference in the strength of the signal.

BLIPBLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP.

Up, it is.

3 blocks north, A LAPD(Los Angles Police Department) missle luncher bot just taps Lone-eye-02m14's protruding eyes as it was moving south. Lone-eye-02m14 didn't dare to alert the bot of his presence. So it acts limp for that brief tap.

Lone-eye02m14: STOP. STOP. Climb back down, Munchy.

Munchy ducks.

The LAPD bot continues to move south. Nothing happens.

BLIIIPBLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP.

Lone-eye02m14: All clear for 3 in lane 330-333 lane 55, with line-of-sight 15 blocks.

Munchy looks up and saw what's look to be a cutout squarish outline. Clearly, it was cleverly disguised so that only bots with vision like Munchy's can see it. He can't be sure if that's the package, but he decides to investigate.

BLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP.

Sure enough, as he get closer, his radar acts up more. It's the package. He picks it up with his crawls and deposit the package in his storage container.

Lone-eye-03m14 and Lone-eye-04m14 flew up to check for possible hostiles. As soon as hostiles are away, other spotterbirds begins to move to adapt to where Munchy is.

Now, Munchy must climb up to a suitable area where a linersbird can take his package.

The area two floors up are clear. He decides to shoot up a rope that help him climb up. It's thinner than the width of the human hair. It should be enough to keep him invisible.

Meanwhile, in the center of the city, in the LAPD Operation Center, the operators of the LAPD bots were monitoring the action.

Captain John Manning stares intensely at the triple screen trying to look for any anomaly in the area. He recevied intelligence that there was something going on in the area south. The coordinate indicates that there were no humans living in this areas but it was known that there were heavy courier activities on the surface.

John Manning commands, "Release the new experimental unmanned gunship now."

"But sir, R&D won't like their pec", but the opposing voice was cut off.

"Do you want to be fired?", Manning threaten.

"No, sir."

"Good."

After the crushing of dissent within the LAPD anticourier command, a linerbird is approaching the city. Crusnik-01m10 has just flown 2600 miles to reach this city.

A brust of AA has just fired up. But it misses Crusnik-01m10 by nearly 500 meters. Then, the gunfire quickly subsided as Crusnick move away from the city's outer limit. Even so, the oblivious robotic gunners are still firing.

"BLAST! With all the flying around, they decided to change pattern at the last minute", Manning yell. "Damn. It would be a goldmine to be able to slavage those bots for data."

Crusnik-01m10: CALLING for sparrows. Calling for sparrows.

A dozen of sparrows flew into the air from the roofs to escort Crusnik.

Meanwhile, a couple of LAPD bots descended onto the battlefield.

Lone-eye-07m14 caught a visual of one those units on floor 65. Lone-eye-07 recongnizes the unit as something totally different. Still, it was not a courier style engineering at all. However, it does have legs.Lone-eye-07 guesstimate that it was a climbing bot. Still, lone-eye runs some more algorithm on the scanned bot. He quickly deduce that there are two double barrel machine gun mounted beneath the triple eyes.

On floor 60, three bots were coming onto Munchy from three different directions. One of those bot was looking upward. His cameo is almost out. So he decides to make a quick getaway up toward floor 65, as the floor in between were covered up by the shaft that Munchy is climbing up through.

Lone-eye-07m14 warns: ALERT. New unit. Climber. Likely hostile.

By then, the spilt second anaylsis and his warning afterward was too late.

BBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. BBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRR. BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRR.

Lone-eye dodges the spray of bullets. Several of the bullet richochet  Lone-eye-07m14. Lone-eye-07 flys south, away from the firefight.

In a CPU core of Munchy, Munchy makes use of the map data that the spotterbirds transmits to him in the last few hours or so to devise an escape routine. Several possible routes were found. He adds in the last locations of all enemy bots that were found in the last couple of hours and estimate the probability of their location. Then he run through an algorithm that yield him some of the best escape route. He randomly picks one.

Data are still transmitting to him. Spotterbirds' warning will have to be weight against the dangeorus LAPD climbers.

"Send the three gunship in this area!", Manning commands.

IN the air, the linerbird was searching for a signal for package delivery for today. A spotterbird's signal was getting through.

Lone-eye-01m14: WARNING. HOSTILE UNITS. HOSTILE UNITS.

Crusnik-01m10's eyes spotted something pericular on the horizon. 3 gunships of a new particular design.

Trigunner-01m14: REINFORCEMENT NEEDED.

Crusnik-01m10: ACKNOWLEDGED. Enemy forces sighted.

Lone-eye-01m14: Huh

Crusnik-01m10: Sending visual.

Lone-eye-01m14: !!!

Lone-eye-01m14: NEW IDENTIFIED TARGETS. UNDERGROUND HOSTILES. UNDERGROUND HOSTILES.

Crusnik-01m14: Acknowledged.

Ground weapons is now hot on Crusnik-01m14.

The chase underground has been going on for 10 minutes or so. The LAPD trackbots are trying furiously to climb up, but in the commotion, 3 LAPD bots suffers permament death. Oh well, they can alway produce more.

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRBRRRRRRRRRRRRR. A climber bot missed Munch by 1 meters, but he hit a loose support beam. The cut was so clean that the support beam begins to fall. BBBBBBBAAAAAAAAAAANG. One out of five down.

Still, the four robots are chasing them furiously in a group. With a bot falling down above, they dodged and lose pace. They lost Munchy.

"STUPID AIs. Who programmed these junks? Order them to spilt up so we can catch up to this robot."

"Yes sir."

And so it was done.

A bot comes up early. He was spotted quickly by one of the spotterbird. Crusnik turns his weapon on the bot.

BBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Soon another bot comes up.

BBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRR

Two bots are now full of holes.

Still, an enemy UAV fire his weapon at Crusnik. BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBRBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBR. Crusnick quickly boost his engine and engage an evasive manuver by flying upward deeply to the left. Soon, the UAV spotted a sparrow and shoot a missle. However, the missle being too large as well being relatively unmanuverable, simply miss the sparrow.

The sparrows lead the guns of the UAV toward to the right. BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRBRRRRRRRRR. BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOMBOOOM.

However, it was not the sparrows, but the UAV's allies that he shot down. Soon, three sparrows descends on the lower wings of the plane and plant bombs near his weapon bay on the bottom. Then, they drop themsleves into the ground below. They open up their wings at the last second.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.

Munchy was underground still. He intinctely climb up near objects that can fall down to the ground below, having internalized the lesson that he learned from the accidental death of his chaser.

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Munch was shot in his hind legs! He'll have to make do with using his upper body strength to climb up. However, a loose heavy object begins to roll, then fall. The chaser bot tries to dodge, but his head was crushed. Since the head contains the computer, it dies.

Soon, Munchy reached the surface, beyond the 100th floor. He raise up his behinds using his front claws and level the platform. He raised the package with the lifter at the bottom of his storage box.

Crusnik dives deeply, than pull back up. The catch gear are out of his loadbay. SSSSSSSSSWWWWWWWWWWWWWIFT.

The package is caught, and soon the linerbird on his way. Munchy just completed his part of the mission. Now the package will be delievered about 2600 miles to some place to Atlanta. Munchy don't know what's in the package. Courier bots are not supposes to know anyway. Nonetheless, he receives very good pay for his work.

BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

The bullets were embedded into the body of Munchy and with such force that Munchy fell down into the abyass below.

3 sparrows soon gouges out the eyes of the last enemy climber bots with their torching beaks. The bot let out a stream of gunfire until it runs out of bullets. Soon, the bot was forced to retreat back into the underground. But not before the bot's eyes were destroyed.

Back at the operation center at LAPD headquarter. Morale was not especially high. Even though they disable a bot, several new bots was destroyed. Some even thought that their commander's neck would come soon enough the next day. All the new methods and reform were not enough. Datagathering, statistical anaylsis, installation and repair of camera equipments, and so on, all ends up in a lucky catch. A lucky catch that ends in a terrible loss. They could lose all the junky slow moving bots and it would be alright. However, they just lost several all the most advanced units chasing after an unarmed courier and then eventually got destroyed on the surface. Worst of all, most of them were destroyed by their own stupidity or the stupidity of other bots. Clearly, heads are going to rolls at the research and development too.

But despite of all of this, the commander is strangely upbeat.

"The end is near."

chapter 1: good stuff.

but some seeming inconsistency there - first it seems munchy is in some building on some high floor, then you say he's 'underground' ?

Los Angeles at this point is essentially a masses of building connected to each others. Moreover, many floors are actually underground. The streets are just literally a big giant hallways that can support cars and bots and heavy stuff.

Chapter 2 is out. I really need to step up my writing effort if I want to accomplish my goal by the end of the month. I am 5 days behind.

Chapter 2
Quote
CHAPTER 2.

NEW YORK. The next day.

In one corner of the New York megacity, deep underground, lies the headquarter of one of the most ambitious esponiage effort in The Courier War. It was a modest home of a thousand square foot, known to utility AIs as being a particular heavy consumer of electricity. Still worse, it was a massive pain for the utility AI, as they learns how to cope with heavy energy surge. The protocol AI on the other hand, is happy with the user paying for his/her usage of the local energy resource. Cooperative beings mean happier protocol AIs.

There, five thousand GPUs and several 40-cores computers lines the wall, performing intensive computation involving cryptography. The wall was lined with cooling tubing to deal with the oppresive heat generation. Eventually, the tubes connecting to a vertical water canal that carry the massive heat generation of computing machinery as well as the occasional robots throughout the city. All of these canal are hook up with massive turbine that recycle the heat into energy.

In one corner though, a neurally connected female was strapped to this small supercomputer cluster, and with a keyboard in her hand.

Tap. Tap Tap. Tap. TapTapTap.

....It turns out that she was just turning off her massive mining rig. Money since our time has already been cryptographic in nature.

Now, the real spying can begins.

Over the past six month, she cultivated many a relationship with courier operators accross the America in hostile cities. From there, she was able to gather a database of enemy bots and the evolving profile of various thugs such as the city police department and gangsters as well their bots, but more improtantly what they are up to.

Today, her Californian spotterbirds are sending in data of the yesterday's action.

"Oh dear, we have lost Munchy yesterday", she said. "I always like talking to that robot."

Then, the AI program that will anaylze the dataset start ups. The AI begins to take note on all the revelant details. They includes the data theft that the trojan horses has leaked out to Courier Confederate data operators, the courier logs of the bot themsleves, and all the hacked camera, as well data obtained from protocol AIs. Then, it runs several statistical algorithm to look for all sort of thousand correlationg factors, and so on, looking and learning how the police conducts its operation.

If that weren't enough, volunteer operators elect to look for holes in the security of police bot just so that they can gather a database of where to infect new trojan horses and computer viruses on the net.

The data operator in this house controls a vast botnet spanning 14 city-states, alway looking for weakness and alway frustrated by authorities fighting back.

It wasn't easy per se. For the most part, she is only able to infect low level operatives, and these operatives only have their orders.

But, what is clear is that the LAPD are becoming smarter and smarter all the time. Less computers are getting infected. The security tighten so much that she have to infect the police officers' personal computers.

She decides to peer into the result of the statistical anaylsis. There, pattern emerges over the last four month periods that the bots are getting smarter. Though, bots that dies mean that the level of sophistication tends to take down a notch, but the bots continue to get stronger. More and more courier bots are getting snared into combat.

BLINK.

There was a connection to Atlanta. A series of logs generated by the trojan horses reveal crucial early use of open source intelligence. The polices are putting their city rivarly to cooperate. Something is very wrong in Los Angeles.

BEEP. She took off her prohestic and contact a courier bot. A few minute later, a courier bot, fresh off the canal rings the door AI.

There, she give a package to the bot, who cheerfully depart for the canal.

A security officer spots the bot carrying a package from that house, home to one of the Confederate's courier operator, or so he thought. Something must be interesting happening.

He decides to give the lady a visit. After all, he can't neglect his childhood friend.

DoormanV322.232.10: State your business?

John Atink: A friendly chat.

DoormanV322.232.10: Wait a moment.

WRRRRRRR.

DoormanV322.232.10: Scram out in 30 minutes, or you will be charged .0000333 btc.

John decides to accept, despite the outrageous price for staying longer. Usually it was something much less, like .0000010 BTC. He better be careful with her time or he will be stick with the largest debt of his life, ever.

"Hello John," Rori said. "What bring you here?"

"Nothing in particular, but I did see something interesting", John said. "You called for a bot to deliever a package. Now a courier operator like you would send for someone else's bot? Cares to tell me what's going on."

"John, I know you been fascinated with the courier wars of the other cities," Rori said with a tense face, "but this activites of mine is for NEED TO KNOW people."

"Then, how can I be the NEED TO KNOW person?"

"By becoming a courier operator."

"Then, how can I become a courier operator in the war?"

She sighed. "If you can get your bot in the ranking of the top 1000 courier bots, I'll hook you up with a war courier operator on the net."

"Deal!", he yelled. He have sparking eyes. Of course, he has just been made a fool out by his childhood friend. The difficulty of breaking into the 1000 ranking in New York is extremely high, as there are millions upon millions of competitor he have to contend with, not to mention the difficulty of keeping with the code exchange and getting new, challenging clients.

The best bots in New York City have the most experience and the most rich dataset, thus intelligence. Of course, it settle into an ever more virtuous cycle, as clients asks for ever more incresingly challenging work based on ever increasing reputation.

Rori thought John was particularly intelligent and curious, but so are does all hackers she know of. John is on the level of a typical hacker. Therefore, he doesn't have a snowball chance in hell to break the 1000th ranking.

"One more thing....Will you go out with me after I crack the ranking", John gleefully asked. "Pretty please?"

"Alright," she said, secure in the notion that John will never ever in the history of the world break it.

"3 MINUTES LEFT! GET YOUR ASS OUT OF HERE", the doorman AI said. Johns run out of the building as fast as he could.

"A/B testing, run 3. Childhood friend scrammed out of here 3 minutes early."

floor 1000, lane 2538. The marine bot finally arrives at the door of an indistinguisable room across the thousand lanes on floor 1000. Instead of greeting the owner of the room, it simply deposit a package into the doorman AI's package door. The bot was paid with an hour worth of the lady's mining rig, earning .0000333 btc.

John Galt lives in that room. He's a veteran of the courier network that has spread throughout the cities of North America decade ago, and the inventor of the engineering bot to boot. Rori can trust him, for as Rori was an apprentice under John Galt.

"God damn. Why did my parents name me after a hero. It's so hard these days to change my name in thousands upon thousands of businesses. I wish I have change my name before becoming famous."

"Sir, you have a package in the bin," said GreetingAI, a nicknamed doorman AI.

"Oh, a package from my ever wonderful from apprentice. Must be something improtant."

He carefully open up the package. It was a USB key. He plugs it into his ancient computer. Apperantly, a 10 core computer is already enough for the old man. There, he has to present his encryption key to open the content in the USB key.

"Something strange is happening in Los Angeles indeed."

Then, he kick a bot sleeping beneath his bed.

"Quirky, I got some improtant meeting to go to. So prepare for getting out of thise room."

The bot hates being awaken from his blissful dream. He makes a quick angry gesture behind his master back.

"Quirky, get your ass out of here and make me some money."

And so Quirky goes.

In five minutes or so, Galt is also out of the house. From there, the taxi he calls for has already arrives. The taxi autonomously drives through the confusing myriad streets neogitating price every step of the way with the utility AIs of the various sections of New York until they arrives at Rori's home floor. They has just descended 500 floors or so, and 300 lanes in five minutes, with no traffic jams. There, he simply walks into a small, serect meeting of data operators for the courier network. There, they links up their neural interface with each other. There, even the public wouldn't know that a meeting was taking place. For the coffeehouse was filled with groups doing neural link exchanges. The coffeehouse cannot access the network of these groups either, and nor can anyone else. They are all disconnected from the net itself. As far as the public is concerned, John Galt was probably an average hacker playing the latest and greatest in video games with his friends and collegues, not plotting subversive missions against last of the American states.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the vast network, a group of operators were gathered for an improtant meeting about Munchy.

Chonis: FUCK. Munchy dead. He's probably being dissected for data by enemies by now.

INSURE_AGENT: Calm down. I don't like this as much as you are. I have to pay you for the insurance claim.

alive_bot: Munchy signal getting through. 3 seconds. This occurs 3 minutes ago.

Chonis: !!!

Sadly, the project is dead(for now).

It's odd. I can do torturous running activities yet I can't write a novel.
