Can we have a Swahili SubForum. Who else is From Eastern Africa in this Firum , we can lobby for Swahili sub forum - No doubt Bitcoins/Cryptocurrencies is the future in finance- let us be on the front line to educate our people. Here in Kenya there was an inter-border Bitcoins trading but it was closed down by one of the biggest Control of mobile money.

I don't see Swahili here...! I'm from Tanzania,  I think we need Swahili platform so that we can talk about cryptocurrency also in Swahili!  We East Africans need Swahili also in this platform....

Long time since there's been any activity in the Kenya thread. I'm looking for good recent info on the bitcoin market in Kenya, so thought I'd try to post here instead of starting new thread. Can anyone share some knowledge of bitcoin activity in Nairobi and other parts of Kenya. I'm looking for info on both face-to-face cash trading and online exchanges that operate in Kenya. What is the availability of BTC in Kenya, and what is legal status and government attitude, for or against? Kenya is a dynamic, growing economy right now, surely there must be some bitcoin activity there.

And responding to previous posts in this thread, I agree there should be a Swahili language thread here, even though I don't speak the language.
