Stripe accepts bitcoun, any experience?

I have a website that charges users with creditcard payment. I currently use Stripe. I was thinking about allowing bitcoin payments as well. Anyone have tried this out?

For instance do they change the bitcoins to usd once the customer pays, or do I get to keep the bitcoins?

That's right. for adjusting their amount and not get a loss caused by the volatility of bitcoin. the average seller always does that. they just think forget a profit from their sold goods. if you keep your bitcoin you already know what will happen with your capital every time.

They'll give you that option in your user area. Some people stay all Bitcoin, others USD, others a combination.

You may want to check whether there's a threshold you have to cross before they do a bank transfer in USD. Bitpay keep raising theirs to a level where it's not very practical if you're not turning over large amounts.

It seems that you think that you are overall losing money because your service is bitcoin friendly.

And you do it because you think in the future price of BTC will be much higher.

Then why you still do it?

With mindset like yours it would be better to earn FIAT and maybe buy some BTC in a process.

No knowledge about that stripe services but just like any other site that accepts bitcoin there are options for bitcoin.  And if you pay for bitcoins they will automatically deduct the corresponding amount into dollars.  Just like when I will buy load for my phone, I will pay it with bitcoin and they will pay my rebate with fiat currency.

Stripe is a hard to use service either way.  If you are looking for a local solution, you may need to use another service and then do the conversion yourself.  It just seems that, especially for a mobile service that the others are easier to use and if you are doing the same couple amounts over and over, then there are some really simple services out there.

If you really like Stripe as a way to go from point A to point B, you can always use another service and then do a once daily TX to stripe for yourself, or however often.

Havent heard of stripe either, gonna try and give it a shot.

Honestly, i have no knowledge and no experience about stripe. But maybe, it is just like for some other sites there that if you want to transact something, of course there's a deduction from your bitcoins, but im not sure if they're the same  . But if i have some available time, i will try to use stripe

Honestly, i have no knowledge and no experience about stripe. But maybe, it is just like for some other sites there that if you want to transact something, of course there's a deduction from your bitcoins, but im not sure if they're the same  . But if i have some available time, i will try to use stripe  

It's just like a payment gateway for accessing the payment from the internet.... it's the another type of the PayPal....
