So I have a question.  What is this thread going to be for?  Is there something that we are going to do or just for fun?

Curious

this thread has one main purpose as first meeting point of a group of friends.
there are some little games ,we can talk or just post a bit ,throw an idea what
a group of friends can achieve ,it serves like a registration desk mostly.

we can at least add some activity on our btctalk accounts,
there is a huge work already done by me about what this group can do,
but it will be shared project when we have a decent (30-50) friends in.

ask me more anytime, welcome greetings, suggestions, comments anytime
/Void3999/

i can promise fun+profit ,but it needs a little effort from all of us.
PS you may suggest friends you like to join us too.

Thank you roadcrap, you got some of the inner meaning of voidbook idea.

My talents are few , i love to construct , i have Eleven year old kid's imagination ,
and i can do abstractions from anything to simplest or void(nothing)

I like the fact earth has so many people i can interact with.
Bitcoin and altcoins are just tools. with a very little use so far.

Trust me not,but use your mind is my only advice for now.
The bricks are there ,i can see some good structures we can build.

As roadcrap mention already we cant go deep in details ,some
privacy needed , and some more friends to join/share with us.

have a nice day and please post thoughts, ideas or comments @ will.
Void3999.

a little game we need from someone of you all...

Hey there gang!

sorry I haven't been around too much.

I come home at around midnight and I see something about:

"roadcrap will post something" in the international room.

of course he will...

go team go!

I was going to post this morning about what we could do as a group...

one suggestion would be do some mining of gridcoins.. but something more interesting would be Grand.

other suggestions would require a more private chat/posting area.. nothing diabolical - but I think it would be smart.

so, to follow the thread - what can a group of crypto friends accomplish online?

 - we can form trust networks for peer to peer loans for example... or the buying and selling of crypto within the group - instead of buying from random people.

- sharing of information about profitable investments

- advertising and social campaigns to boost traffic to certain websites - (our own, CG..)

- bitcoin employment postings..

- freedom to travel / sharing of cultural information

.. and - with a solid group, the pooling of resources for big investments..

obviously, it would be great to "make more money" but we need to establish a trust network and a safe meeting place before we go too crazy - but hopefully this should get the ball rolling Smiley

go team go!

Hey Road,

Was wondering were you've been... I have a good investment for you - it's called "Aleric" but don't tell anyone... it's a secret.

Love this and everything we stand for already Eli <3

I like the phrase I caught the winning spirit but suggestions are open, yes?

So what have you guys learned today? About anything, feel free to share.

Today (technically) I learned about Probate Laws in Texas. Interesting stuff, had to read over it as my partner has some inheritance property issues he needs to deal with 😅

I am hoping always for a good day. I extend my wish to you all  Smiley

The difference between gambling and generating money with money

by: roadcrap

Once upon a time, there was a person who called himself Aleric264 on an online gambling site..

He never learned the difference between gambling and generating money because he was too eager to generate money "RIGHT NOW!"

Many a times his friends invested their last bits of money in the hopes that he would hit the jackpot.

Unfortunately for Aleric, a much cuter girl whom we wont name just yet - joined the casino and started gambling on slots from faucets.

She would come home on numerous occasion with pockets overflowing with crypto ~ giving generously on her way..

Aleric often wondered how it was possible to have spent so much money without ever having hit the jackpots himself..;

Alas, his starving friend who is trying to generate money at home with his Canadian dollars keeps investing in him - in the hopes that he will hit the jackpot while playing blackjack on an online casino..

but his friends have run out of money and are wondering what went wrong..

maybe he should have invested in the house or tried smaller/safer bets instead?

mar·tin·gale

a strap, or set of straps, attached at one end to the noseband or reins of a horse and at the other end to the girth. It is used to prevent the horse from raising its head too high.

go team go

generate money to gamble (if you need to) - dont gamble to generate money

(i know im boring - but so is being poor)

----

where has roadcrap been?

working 12 hour days for another week or two
im hoping that coins will be at a normal rate when im ready to buy

does anybody have anything constructive to contribute about the future of bitcoin in the next month?

---

Aleric,

posting something relevant and not asking for money would be grand - i didnt join a hand-out forum..
Your writing fails at being humorous and your opinions doesn't matter. There is my constructive contribution.

Thanks!

I think we all need to relax and not be so uptight about this! Now I could be wrong, but no need for Aleric to be rushed away so soon

Aleric it is ultimately your decision to go or to stay but I think you should stay because you ARE a part of the group and I would be sad to see you go off so early in the game, so to speak...

Usually I am not long winded by any means, but this thread, this idea that Eli has brought to life is different--- we are all going to (eventually) invest a lot of time and effort into this and we all need to pull our weight.

We shall understand if anyone wishes to leave at this point, knowing how this is going to be and knowing that if you don't have the time/energy to deal with great conversation amongst a group of trustworthy individuals in a safe environment... then so be it. Just let us know of your departure (as I said that goes for anyone and everyone).

I am here to stay and thank you once again Eli/Void3999 for bringing us all together <3

Doing great DirtySmurf. How are you doing pal?

We need to figure out a way where we will all remember to come on here at least daily or every other day

That way we can ALL keep it active and we can help Eli carry the weight of this thread too!

In the meantime, where is everyone from?
I'm from sunny California! My name is Rosemary but I go by either Rose or Maryrose Smiley

Sorry I didn't realize that sarcasm was not permitted on the thread Sad. I still don't get it - so this thread going to be a place for suggestions on CG & what we can accomplish as a group of people in the bitcoin/crypto community? Sort of like a think tank for all us superior individuals?

If so I am in - no need to gang up on Aleric Sad

Just didn't realize what the thread was all about I guess.

Sorry I didn't realize that sarcasm was not permitted on the thread.
I told you no sarcasm after dinner. Also, I was pretty sure I ordered lights out at 10.

I still don't get it - so this thread going to be a place for suggestions on CG & what we can accomplish as a group of people in the bitcoin/crypto community?
This is an offtopic thread, so I'd guess the main purpose is...spamquality content

Sort of like a think tank for all us superior individuals?
I didn't see a single one in this thread. Oh, besides Rose Roll Eyes

If so I am in - no need to gang up on Aleric
You're right, no need to, I can do that just fine on my own, can't I? Tongue

Just didn't realize what the thread was all about I guess.

Hehe Lutpin no need to be so sweet to me Smiley

I think everyone goes on CG but fails to come here, whether at the same time or just to check it periodically. We need to have an incentive to motivate everyone to come to btctalk and actually contribute to the thread). Any suggestions?

I see a bright future for this group, but we need to keep it together and cut off loose ends like this. We won't be able to move forward until we figure out the communication part of this all.

I wish this place had a chat part of it.  So we didn't have to post.  All the time.  Tomis  I was going to ask what strat do you like with dicebot when your away from the computer.  Everytime I try that and walk away and come back. I lose most of everything I have.  Don't know if this is allowed on here, if not let me know.
