On My Account page, the "Average speed in last 10 minutes" is like half of what my GUIMiner client is saying.

What is that about?  Huh

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Seems like a big hit when I have less than 2% stales. I wonder what the "other variances" could be...

same problem here with deepbit ( which seems to be currently down). I think it's not easy to calculate a correct value for that.
