Hi everyone!

I have a Antminer S7 Batch 8 with a problem access the root,

The following are the chronologic events about the issue!

Before that, I checked all the fan coolers and the miner have a good air flow from both fans.

  • 1st. I notice the miner doesn´t show any hash at all (because the green light and the red light are off), i check the root board and it shows no hash at all
  • 2nd. I decide to reset the miner and configure it all over again, but this time i notice the root don´t load all when the miner start! (both lights still off)
  • 3rd. I start all over again with the same result
  • 4th. I decide to update the firmware
  • 5th. I reboot the system, but this time doesn´t sound as usual when the miner is conecting (fan coolers do not change speed from minimum)
  • 6th. I check the router looking for the new ip access, and it doesn´t show anything (the lights from the LAN port are on)
  • 7th. I decide to put the factory reset button again, but it doesn´t reset anything and the lights still of

I appreciate some of your help! Huh Huh Huh

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Hi everyone!

You might go into more details on this part.  A bad flash can mean issues such as not mining or being able to access miner.   I believe on firmware update they reboot on their own.  Did you let it update and reboot on it's own?   You mention you rebooted it I'm hoping you did not try this or other thing's during firmware update.

A good rule on firmware for most part if it's working leave it alone.  Did you ever have miner working? If so what was last change before it quit?
