2,400 1oz Silver Rounds for Auction

Hello Bitcoin Forum,

Been a long time since I've posted here! 

I am auctioning off 2,500 oz of 1oz silver coins, which were minted by MyBitcoinMint.com (no longer operational).

These are some pretty pretty coins, and have been kept in great condition 



If someone wanted to purchase the coins, and re-mint them to have the Bitcoin logo on both sides (instead of the My Bitcoin Mint logo), or any other design they have in mind, we can work with you to get that done.

This auction will end on Sunday the 16th at 9pm CST.

Minimum bid will be silver spot price (appx $17.50/oz x 2400 oz = ~$42,000) , and will not include additional costs such as shipping & handling or optional re-minting.

Happy to use a reputable escrow party of buyer's choice.

Yes indeed! Unfortunately I couldn't access my old MyBitcoinMint account, but I did have this other older one from some time ago. It's fun to be back on the forums after so long!

I'd suggest that you sell these in lots, as most people here can't afford to pay $42000.

I understand you're looking at a minimum bid at spot; however, I would like to add something just to sub to the thread.

I would be happy to make an offer. Since your example is in dollar, my offer is:

2400 @ 14.50 = $34,800
I understand that I would pay for shipping.  200 troy pounds shipment with insurance is an expensive.

Of course you want more and should probably get it; however, it's my offer to get some more clarification in the thread.
Who minted the coins and/or any paperwork on the weight and silver content?

Where are you located? (More specifically where would they ship from?) 

If close to me, we can walk into the bank together and transfer funds instead of escrow. 
Basically, you should give a little more info as to if you're only accepting dollars (cash or bank money) or bitcoin, etc.
If you're close to me, I would raise my offer since shipping wouldn't be a problem.

Last thing.  The original post says 2500 coins, but the example is 2400.
Does this mean you're accepting offers of various quantities?  If so, many will want to know the minimum they can purchase.

I know it may take a lot of time,but you aren't going to earn a lot more.
You can even end up selling them each for 6-7 $ above spot price, and then you got yourself a pretty nice profit.

Anyway, I dont think that you will find anyone here that has 42K$ ready to be spent on silver coins.

Would you guys be interested in perhaps ordering 20 at a time? The coins are currently stored in tubes of 20, so that would make it relatively easy for shipping. Trying to avoid shipping/packaging 1 or 2 or 3 individual coins.

The coins are located in NY and will ship from there. Can accept USD bank transfer or BTC.

Apologies for the 2500 typo, 2400 coins is indeed correct and the total amount avail. I suppose the lowest # of coins I could accept a bid for would be 20, because the coins are currently stored in tubes of 20. Also, regarding where the coins were minted: We worked with the Golden State Mint to mint these rounds. They have a very strong reputation in their space and can confirm the authenticity of these rounds. I can also provide order forms from the time of purchase as well.

I liked that the design is pretty simple.

If you are willing to sell 10-15 units of this, let me know, as I am really interested in buying.
But I can not offer you for the full pack of 2400, as I can't afford buying all of those.
As I said before, I really think that you could have a much higher profit if you sell them separately  or at least at packs of tens.
