Hello, I know I'm a new member here and will offer any applicable proof of identity to a lender that will loan me 202 BTC to purchase a decent-sized FPGA mining rig offered for sale by user bitdaniel.

Here's his ebay auction (in German): http://www.ebay.de/itm/140946529267/

And here's the private message where he offered to sell me the item for the amount of BTC needed:

(removed)

According to his specs, he is making 2-3 BTC/day on the rig at the current difficulty.  I should be able to repay this loan within 1 year.  I will offer the mining rig equipment itself as collateral to secure the loan.

I do not need this loan now.  Thank you to those who PM'd me with offers.

You are willing to ship the mining rig?  To what areas of the world?

Yes, in that event, I will ship the rig anywhere that I legally can. I believe this gear might fall under export restrictions here in the US, but if not, then I would ship it anywhere. (Can someone answer thar definitively?)

And you want someone to send this guy in Germany 200 bitcoins to get the rig mailed to them?

Edit:  This is a bad idea.  This guy is desperate to sell because with more AISCs coming online, he will make less and less per day.  I doubt you will make your coin back.

Don't do it.

Hmmm...  I appreciate your feedback.  What would you say a fair price would be for his gear then?

I can't answer that (not in the business of buying used gear) but probably a lot less than he'll take.

Ah.  Dang it.  I was hoping this would have been my break into hardcore mining.  Undecided

Well, anyway, many thanks for your input.  Don't want to make a bad investment!

If you want in on mining, I have a bfl order (#2080) which should be first batch. This will bring in around 4.5 coins a day currently. Make a silly bid and back it up with coins and I will sell to u.

Ok, which miner is it and how much are you looking to get for it?

Exactly same question as Ionux,
