CasinoLeaf

https://casinoleaf.com/

CasinoLeaf is a new Bitcoin gaming and gambling project which just now is going public with our first launch. We are launching early with merely a single game and intend to expand the offerings over time. If you are interested in this type of product please feel welcome to try it out at: https://casinoleaf.com/

We are looking for feedback so please feel welcome to either leave a comment here or email us at info@casinoleaf.com. You are going to be one of the first external testers outside our small friends and family group so all feedback is precious to us. If you are curious about the payout table and probabilities you can check them out in the game client. You don't need to submit an email address or deposit anything to get to that, username and password is all you need to submit to create an account.

We use Html5 tech and currently we only support desktop chrome and chromium browsers, we will expand this support to more browsers and devices later on. If you use Chrome Beta on an Android the game may also work there but until they implement support for the WebAudioApi this Android compatibility is be pretty much accidental.

Since this is the first time we are reaching out for players we recommend that you avoid making big deposits. Try playing the game with very small bets. :-) We also don't want the bank to go broke too fast if you happen to get lucky. The Smallest possible bet is 0.001 Bitcoins, which happens to feel a lot bigger now than what it did when we started building on this project...

Some Technical Information

This project is currently in an early development phase. A game development studio would probably call it an "Alpha version" as it is neither feature complete nor close to any equivalent of content complete.

All communication with the server goes over https, this means that your account information and other information about you activities are encrypted.

For deposits we use a Coinbase solution, to withdraw your winnings you register any Bitcoin wallet. Minimum withdrawals are currently set to 0.01 Bitcoins to avoid the transaction fee for smaller transactions. Coinbase provides our system with a deposit page embedded in an iframe so it is practically outside our control to refine this part of the system. We are considering implementing additional solutions for handling deposits and would appreciate feedback regarding the details.

The game server will only accept bets as long as the house account has enough Bitcoins to afford paying out the biggest possible win. If a few players get seriously lucky we will need to increase the house bankroll but we expect a relatively small number of played games this early so the probability of this happening should be quite low.

The available game uses a so called "stateless" design. This means that the server immediately rewards the player with the winnings of a played game without needing to wait for additional information or processing. Winnings are transferred to the players account stored in a secure database and made available for withdrawal instantly. The result is played back as a sequence in the client.

About The Team

The crew behind this project is a group of gaming industry veterans located in Sweden. We have been working as consultants in the e-gaming industry since the early days of internet gaming in various capacities such as programming, project management and business development. We are firm followers of the Lean Movement and much of the reason why we are going live like this is to get a chance to improve the product before we sink a lot of work into the wrong features.

This is our first post here on the bitcointalk forums so that is why this is posted here in the Newbie section rather than the gambling or project development ones. We hope you find this interesting enough to give our young little product a try.  :-)

A Final Plea for Feedback: If you have feature requests or other proposals that you believe would make our product better don't hesitate to tell us!

This was pretty cool.

The transfer to the coinbase wallet requires a bit more clicking than I would have preferred but it went smooth once I got the idea. Withdrawing my little winnings of 0.12 BTC was a lot easier.

Fun little game :-)

I really think you should add some more info on the frontpage before asking people to sign up.
Just a suggestion.

Thanks for the feedback!

I'll look at getting some info up on the landing page tonight. Got any proposal for what kind of information you would like to see there to be more comfortable with signing up?

Thanks for the feedback!

I'll look at getting some info up on the landing page tonight. Got any proposal for what kind of information you would like to see there to be more comfortable with signing up?

E.g.:
- Which games are you offering?
- Which payouts could one expect?
- Are you provably fair?

Took a stab at adding some info regarding these issues just now. I didn't get much time for development this weekend otherwise but this type of stuff gets top priority.  ^^
