I hope. Zero authentication whatsoever is stupid and it was just a matter of time until someone came in and cleaned up.

There is another thread about this problem with more information (but no official post from the Instawallet/Paymium people):

At another Paymium website which is down for maintenance with the same message, http://bitcoin-central.net, there is an announcement that at "Bitcoin-Central" and "Paytunia" all accounts are safe (but no mention of "Instawallet")
