Man look at the shake'n'bake Peter is sporting these days!  Many years ago I listened to him a bit but stopped even before he shot the head of his dick off betting one the EU.

I'm not sure whether it is more absurd to be as fascinated as Peter pretends to be by something which can be be broken into pieces, or to put .9999 gold in one's billfold.  I've always preferred a good alloy like KR's for durability myself.

Yep, I had the opportunity to show Peter my Shire Silver cards a year ago but didn't bother because he's pretty clearly stuck in traditional investment thinking.

I do like the combi bar idea, and had tried to do something similar a few years before these hit the scene. I just couldn't make it work economically, and it doesn't really make sense as a currency. Its a kind of a cross between an investment and a OMGTSHTFWTF temporary currency for a scenario that isn't really likely to happen.

That said, this does seem to indicate he's learning and will eventually get on board. Its just going to take some time and some profit incentive.

Shire Silver, a better bullion that fits in your wallet. Get some, now accepting bitcoin!

Wonder if Peter Schiff would accept bitcoin for combi-bars?? .. might be nice to have 1 or 2 around for novelty or in an emergency.

Actually, has anyone asked Euro-Pacific Capital if they are considering accepting bitcoins at all? Do they have a bitcoin strategy?
