As LTC difficulty raising, mining with CPU became pointless.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Why not just use PPC, where you eventually don't have to mine anything and proof of stake is what counts. It's the most energy-efficient alt coin right now, it has a bright future ahead of it.

MyZhre, definitely check out PPCoin and proof-of-stake. You can essentially gain rewards based on how long you hold onto your coins via a mechanism called coinstake. Mining is only used at the start of the currency to generate coins. There is still a need to mine, but it is more balanced for those who can't mine as much because of coinstake.
