Looks like this is new for me its a hub or gpu hub? that you can use as extension gpu?
Maybe it can be work.. but i didnt heard or saw someone are using like that they are building mining instead.

its working fine if you have a mobo with 2-3 PCI-e 1X and you want a few extra (BUT NOT GOINT TO WORK ON ALL MOBO). its working fine with my GA-X99M-Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0) board , its also working with ASRock H81 PRO BTC / ASRock H97 Anniversary , but i was not able to get more than 6 RX480 working stable in those mobo's. 6 ok with risers no problem, with Multiplier/riser 6 card ok if 3 plugged into to the mobo with risers , and 3 connected to the Multiplier/riser. make no sense to using it with ASRock H81 PRO BTC or ASRock H97 Anniversary .

so if you have a Motherboard with a few PCI-e 1X , and want to add a few more then its may going to work , may not

i did not played to much with settings on ASRock H81 PRO BTC or ASRock H97 Anniversary , so i can not say for sure its not going to work on those mobo's with 6+ cards. I would be happy to build a rig with 8 card so if someone know the secret settings , please let me know

I got wanted to know if you tested in a card mother with only 2 pci mini there'd call this there?

This topic comes up frequenty and the consensus is that even if you can physically plug whatever amount of GPUs you want into a single computer, you'll run into limitations.

You'll probably have to edit both your BIOS and your OS (linux) for the slightest chance of getting more than 6 or 8 cards recognized - let alone working.

And then when you have a random system crash you'll have a much bigger problem trying to figure out the point of failure (GPU, riser, cable, etc) as if you would with a 6 card rig.

And these risers are generally not exactly cheap (though the one in question is surprisingly cheap).

Each card requires a certain amount of electricity, system memory and CPU processing power (depending on algo) so you're only essentially only skipping on motherboard and storage costs (which is so low it's not even relevant) in exchange for massive difficulties.

All in all, I think it's not worth the hassle at all.

What's the point of using it if you only can handle same number of cards as your mbo pcix slots ?
Have you tried filling up all slots in your mobos and then use this with 3 additional cards on it ? (that's what it should be able to do, otherwise its a waste of time)
Also, looking at circuitry of the board, it is not that cheap in contrast to production cost.

I'm using this riser / multiplier with my GA-X99M-Gaming 5 (rev. 1.0) micro atx board with 16GB Memory , and a server CPU . This Motherboard have 4 pcie slot . With the multiplier I'm able to run 6 card with that mobo without any problem . 3 connected to the mobo , 3 to the multiplier .

I was not able to run more than six card stable with this multiplier in this 2 motherboard : ASRock H81 PRO BTC / ASRock H97 Anniversary . I did not played much with settings , plug in cards to different pcie slots . I'm sure it's possible, I just need some time to find out :-)

Both motherboard recognized 8 cards , but most of times the 2 cards on the multiplier got error 43 in device manager , the 3rd one connected to the multiplier worked fine .
