So I just received an email notifying me that a transfer has been made from my pool to my wallet.

The wallet address was created using Bitcoin QT.

(The amount is insignificant as I'm just in the learning phase so I'm not overly concerned at this point)

Now, I have read up on creating a secure wallet and have a plan to do so. Right now, since the transaction has been verified am I correct that I do not need to take any action at this time? My millibits are technically in my wallet even though it is offline. Next time I let Bitcoin QT update the coins will be in my wallet.dat file?
