It seems like there's a problem with every single deposit or withdrawal I make there lately which requires that I submit a ticket.  One issue has been outstanding for over a month and the rep just tells me how sorry he is and how mad he would be in my position.  I've had to submit so many tickets that I can see from the ticket numbers that there have been a massive number of tickets submitted there lately.

which coins have you had problems with? I can't see many announcements about it below the trollbox. I hope they've taken on some people because the volume of customer enquiries must be huge compared to the old days.

Well I requested a withdrawal from them and got it immediately a few hours back... Seemed everything smooth to me that time. I'm now going to try to make a small ethereum classic deposit right now there, let's see how it goes. I had to make a bigger deposit, but after reading this, lowering my deposit amount.

i am always worried about all the exchange services that i use. there is literary no exception whatsoever which site you are using they are all the same and subject to the same risks.
if you look at the history, there have been a lot of other exchanges like poloniex which were fully trusted and safe, and everybody were happy with their service but they pulled a scam an ran away.

this particular problem you are having may be just an exception and may not be anything to worry about but it is best to know the risks.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Which coin you have problem depositing? I am only depositing and withdrawing bitcoin from them with some occasional lisk deposit/withdraw and all of them have went through almost immediately. Don't know about other alts problem there but 1 month waiting time to get deposit in account in poloniex sound really fearful, i thought their support team is quite responsive or even you can ask active mods in their troll box.

May be this issue is with your account or the coin you are dealing with. But i will never trust any single trading platform with all my funds for sure.

I had a small Steem deposit not show up today and I was told to submit a ticket. I had another larger Steem deposit clear very quickly yesterday. Weird! Maybe some glitch in their systems??

I left Poloniex one year ago. Withdraw(bitcoin, not any alt) there waiting is for several days, I think that answer on my ticket I never  got.
Maybe now it's better, but It's too late now

All exchanges have their positive and negative qualities... For example, yobit is full of shills and is slow with withdraw/deposits. Poloniex locked my account and wouldn't tell me why, took me months to get those funds back. Cryptopia is my favorite - just obey the laws of the mods and you'll be fine Cheesy Hex (admin) has pissed off/banned/etc. thousands of souls - but is a fuckin rad dude Smiley

I think most the coins especially ETC is dying fast. I should have just withdraw my earnings  but still decided to put all into etc and now i can't even say if it would still goes back. This could make me believe that there is really something happening to poloniex? or maybe im a just too noob in trading.

This is correct some how.. every exchanges face problems. some will fix them very fast and some will not. I am using lots of Exchange sites and almost every site went down many times a year.. it is more often with an exchanging site because hackers and Ddosers always try to compromise their data bases and wallets and try to steal money..

that's why experienced people never prefer to store big funds in exchange wallets.

I don't have any problems with poloniex, but my friend had, his account out there has been hacked by someone and it was locked, after more than a month they handle the problem and restore the account with funds were in it, yeah too long for them to solve the problem of their user. But so far Poloniex is trusted maybe their costumer service is need to improve i think.

No I do not have any problem with poloniex so I do not have any worry . But I don.t know that why is that problem with you. mayne there will be some issues with your internet connection and because of slow load of page the problem will occur.

I haven't used Polo in months and I don't have any balance on there, so I'm not exactly worried for myself.  It definitely would suck ass if they Cryptsy'ed away with folks's money, as any exchange can do.

You have to wonder just who runs these exchanges, and why there isn't any sort of transparency involved.  Perfect set up for scamming, methinks.  And if that information is available, you just know the ones who are in charge have little business experience.  People running exchanges should, in my opinion, be more than bitcoin enthusiasts and/or computer nerds.

i think you don't have anything to worry about, they are still working fine from what i am seeing. but if you are not satisfied you should do what i did a long time ago and leave it behind and move on to another good exchange service.

bittrex is just as good, c-cex is also good but smaller, also there are btc-e and kraken but they have far less coins.

same here mate don't have any issue from this exchange i keep using it because of good volume and a fast pace trade unlike smaller trading exchange but if you are having issue using it and keep experiencing same thing and make you inconvenient i think you needed to consider trex as an option too avoiding you to delay your trade because i know how it feels when yobit did it to me not knowing that waves wallet got issue with it making me wait for my btc to recover for almost a week or more.

I do.

My account  just got hacked there. Sure I wasn't holding any coins or using 2FA at that moment but it still worries me how they figured out my password.

I will stay away from all the exchanges unless there is a very well buy/sell opportunity.
