Buying LiteCoin

Is there any easy and secure way of transferring money to BTC-E or other sites where LiteCoin can be traded? What I dont like at BTC-E is the russian payment services, I simply dont trust russian companies to handle my VISA-card or money.

You can buy BTC at, say, MT GOX or some other reputable exchange and send then to BTC-e on order to trade them for LTC
