Hi all,

I made a simple desktop-widget in Java that shows the current exchange-rates of different sites.

https://i.imgur.com/B3MIBBDl.jpg

  • Can be sticked to top
  • Can be sticked to any desktop-corner
  • Different currencies may be chosen

A future version will also show which pool mined the latest blocks in a separate widget (which can be turned off and on).

Grab the newest nightly here: http://suven.github.com/BTCTicker/ [probable spyware - use at your own risk]

Hope you like it. Any feedback is very welcome!

Nice!

Excited to see how your widget develops over time.

I'm working on a similar project that gives desktop notifications when an arbitrage opportunity is available. Here's an early stage screenshot.

So the user set ups any BTC-Amount and as soon as this is reached, gets notified? Great idea!

That is a native OSX-Application right?

Would you mind if I implement something similar? Of course I will thank you in the commit/version-notes for that (:

Edit:\ By the way: could you please make your screenshot a tiny bit smaller? Wink
