It is an even trade, 5 for 5, and my friend said that if I get some BTC then we could combine our assets because he saw some really cheap graphics cards that were only 25.

Where's the "ignore user" option when you need it?

Selling out to advertisers shows you respect neither yourself nor the rest of us.

Anyone? This is what I don't like about this place, everyone clings onto their BTC and won't let anyone else have it.

People are happy to sell at reasonable prices, a few will even sell at below market price if they want to shift a large volume in a short period. But for this low volume and at the insanely low price you're asking ($1/1BTC) it's just not going to happen. You might stand a chance at $10USD during a dip in the market - but I doubt it.

It has nothing to do with clinginess.  You're just offering a price multiple times less than what they could get by selling those same 5 coins on Mt. Gox.  Clearly there are plenty of people who want to sell them, but not for $1 apiece.
