it would be great if there could be a watch for pre-pump-action not after it has happened. i mean when the price is low and the coin is still in the accumulation phase.
I'm watching closely LSK and 1CR for this very soon... |

Evidence of pump? Or just a spam post? it seems like whenever you see a topic with the word Pump in it everybody starts advertising their own coin like my above post by an obvious throwaway account  anyways i am also interested in this if you can catch some pumps before they actually happen. #watchingLikeAHawk |

the thread might be interesting for noobs if you teach them how to identify an accumulation phase that leads to a pump (and dump).

I get a good giggle out of reading this. Everything thinks they know when a pump and dump is occurring but can't seem to understand the logic with supply and demand. If you'd like to know more about pump and dump, then read up on supply and demand.
Think about it like this. To be a hacker, you need to know how to code. If you don't know how to code and you still consider yourself a hacker; then you're actually a script kiddy. Script kiddies are always the first ones to get arrested. The ones that don't understand the real elements of pump and dumps are the first to lose there money.

I dont really see this thread would be usefull at all because we wont know coins when they would pump unless if they are manipulated and for sure someones gonna post their coins so that new users would directly buy it and would only waste their money for sure.

It is useful. I talked about 1CR and gained a nice +20% the next hours, same with POT right now... |

It is useful. I talked about 1CR and gained a nice +20% the next hours, same with POT right now... yeah yeah newbie accounts screaming of xxx% gains. we all know those stories. i will just remember mr. pumper (or whatever his nick was) who created 100+ sockpuppets to post in his pump thread. 99% of the time he was just talking with himself in that thread. |

you don't know what you are talking about. yes i agree that you should know some basics about trading, and some facts like supply and demand and many other things but it has nothing to do with the topic here which is pump and dumps and groups that are doing itand that is what happening in the altcoin world. or do you really think a dead coin with no real world usage and with like 200 satoshi price goes up because it suddenly found some "demand" out of nowhere?! |
Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

But how would you know when the right time to sell or buy is ? Its easy to look st the graph afterwards but how do you actually predict this ? Even if people say they will pump how can you be certain they will ? Maybe its only a trap ?
