I've been keeping an eye on BTC for a while now but finally decided to get into it a bit and put my spare GPU's to use. They are older but free and power isn't a big deal.

I'm going to start doing a bit of LTC mining instead of BTC mining.

Anyway, just wanted to say hi Smiley

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Right now just a couple of old linux boxes I had laying around. But after I have more time tonight I'll be mining with a 6970 and a 7970 as well.

I don't think you'll get much donations for no reason around here.

However, keep in mind that as far as crypto currencies go, litecoin is one of the better currencies for allowing CPU mining to still be relevant.

Just my 2c.

Okie Dokie

I have been in BTC since the last bubble. I have at last made a profit in £ and still have some coins left, should I invest in Litecoins?  If so where is the best place to do it? I work on a laptop so im pretty sure mining is out of the question, although I often work in different offices so I can get free electricity for 10-15 hours per week.

I'm using Vircurex.  It's not bad; a simple site but gets the job done.  Has lots of other coins on it too.
