Ethereum Price Speculation after Hardfork on: 18th October, 2016

Since the ETH fork is scheduled in around 14 hours. What do you think the price of Ethereum will be in the next 24 hours

I have this poll open for the next 24 hours so let's see how well people can speculate on that.

That is very hard to say because we do not know what will happen. I believe all the miners this time are together with this new hard fork and will not allow the blockchain to split again. But there are people who believe that this new hard fork will split the blockchain again, they say that we will end up with at least 3 Ethereums. If that happens ETH could go below $10.00.

If everything is ok and the upcoming attacks effect will be greatly diminished, then i think it will be stable at around 15$ short term, 1-4 weeks.

it is never easy to speculate Ethereum price because simply put it is completely manipulated!
i can say one thing for sure and that is in the long term the price will stay around this price and in the longer term it will go down.

but because of the fork if the manipulators decide it is a good chance to make profit they will let the price go down.
but if they think they should keep it up to keep eth alive they don't let the price move or they can even pump it more as we can see this happening right now.

You are so wrong and lack logic, alot. The price before the attacks was ~15$ and was heading to ~18-20$ range, but when attacks started speculators speculated on this obvious fact given network ddos negative news, cashed out and waited to see what happens, or simply wanted to buy more at a reduced price. Now that most attack vectors are fixed, they are coming back in.
What kind of flawed logic you got there thinking the price would go down after a fix ? Lol.

What is the latest update on the hard fork? I believe it already has transpired without any further splits in the Ethereum blockchain? The miners, the community and the Ethereum foundation all look united in this latest hard fork. The price is now stable at 19.0 - 19.5 mBTC.
