What I mean by decent is where you can really see that it is growing and it can give you profit that is enough to be reinvested. Call me dumb but I really don't know. I'm sorry. My only source of coins is my signature campaign. I earn about less than 0.1 BTC per month. Any advice would be much appreciated.

You're not dumb, just this is weird question as there is no correct answer. I actually think that you should invest at least 0.3 to see decent profit after each month

There is no exact amount because there is no fix income or return in any investment. What I would do though is to start small and consistently or regularly adding some funds to my investment. After some time you will notice the return and if that amount is enough for you then you can stop adding funds.

It depends what you expect to get from this. If you want some pocket money, 10 BTC s the minimum amount you need to have and invest smart. If you want to be able to cover 1/3 of monthly expenditures living in some developed country, 100 BTC to invest and profit from is a minimum.
It all depends on your spending habits and expenditures.

Like the people before me told it all depends on number of factors, one of the most important is that, in what are you planning to invest. But now since you are looking for a simple answer in some amount of btc, considering that you earn 0.1 btc or less per month then I would say 1 BTC-ish is a good amount for you to start investment and see atleast some profit.

I agree, but these numbers are too huge for a commoner like us . I think for a regular employee and want extra income, 0.5 to 1 BTC is enough to make your everyday life going with ease. But of course, you need a particular requirement to be able to use it wisely and successfully. Knowledge, hard work, patience and being smart is the one required to make them grow multiple times.

it depend on what you can afford. if you earn more or less 0.1 per month, then keep collecting everything till you reach an amount of let's say 0.3-0.5btc, and start trading with it. i only advice you to trade bitcoin, but if you so wish you can also trade altcoins, but the risks there are much higher since it's a speculation driven market.

It's different based on people preferences on the word "decent". Others considered BTC0.1 or even less as a decent amount whether as an earnings or as a capital in an investment. If you think that a certain amount is decent in your own preferences then that is a decent one. Simple as that.

Depends upon where you like to invest that amount if you are thinking to invest those bitcoin in gamblings sites bankroll than any amount smaller than 1 bitcoin may not give significant return, investing in altcoin ICO than 0.10 bitcoin will be enough if you trust the project and think have potential but if you like to start trading and earn profit you need atleast 10 bitcoin to day trade bitcoin or for altcoin trading 2-3 bitcoin may give you significant return if you can predict the market move correctly.

I assume the OP means throwing money into piece of shit sites that'll promise the world and deliver nothing. In that case zero is by far the best amount.

It’s impossible to know the answer to that question because you don’t define what you mean by decent, for example for you 0.2BTC maybe a lot or maybe that is too low but for another person those quantities have different meaning

The amount you do earn per month is good for decent investment, but not the decent investment or the amount involved that matters. What matters most is the knowledge of how to trade better if you don't have enough knowledge, you may easily loose your hard earned money. Better try to learn perfect knowledge on where to invest and how to trade.

The decent investment it's not about how many amount you're want for investing in the any investment place but that is about the decent place for investing your amount for get a profit from them and I think there is no a minimal and maximal amount for investing in the decent investment. decent investment are means the good investment place for you. if you're wanna for getting a decent place for your amount I think will be better investing into the reputable ico dude.

Thanks guys for the honest answers. I think 0.1 per month is decent for me but I'm going to save more and accumulate at least 2 BTC before I go start trading. I really appreciate your help, guys. Thanks. I assume the OP means throwing money into piece of shit sites that'll promise the world and deliver nothing. In that case zero is by far the best amount.
No, I really meant trading. That's why I posted this in the Trading Discussion section. Duh.

you shouldn't really ask this from other people, and instead come up with the answer yourself. because it is up to you and your pocket + willingness to take risks that can answer your question. for example if you have 100 BTC and want to take small risks you can go in with 10 BTCor if you have 0.1 BTC and willing to take big risks you can go in with all of it. also try to think in fiat terms that might help like 0.1 BTC=63$ so are you really worried about losing 63$?

Depends on my 3 months experiences; If you are trading BTC/USD then you will need at least 2-3 BTC for capital. This may be called decent investment. So thats how you can increase your investment satisfactory. But if you are talking about altcoin trading then I don't have enough experiences about it so I can't say anything. Of course it's totally up to your economic situation. Good luck.

There is really no such thing as a decent amount because it all depends on the person. Ot depends on how much you can afford as a budget. The thing you should just remember is that the more you invest the more profit you get. The 0.1 btc provably will be enougj fr starters and you candecide to increase it as you familiarize with trading.

i think trading in alt coins you can really invest any amount of bitcoin, as you can trade a currency which have a very cheap value but having good potential, so you can really make good profit if its value goes high.

in my way of thinking there is no decent amount to get start profit and then reinvest . because in investment there is more loss of chance because the tge place where we invested is trusted or not . overall if you want earn some legit way to make money then this forum is alredy a best place to earn money in.signature campaign .
