A post from the company's blog, German-based Bitcoin ATM company Bitheus announced that they had been sabotaged by an employee over an extended period of time. At the time of the announcement on September 21, at least 18 out of more than 300 of the BitXatm Bitcoin ATM’s, also known as Bitcoin Teller Machines (BTM’s), were affected, with no recourse offered for operators as of yet...

It's great that a lot companies and exchanges protect themselves against hackers and stuff, but they should even protect themselves much better against their own employees. This shows it once again. Nowadays the risk of theft from employees has become a bigger threat than from potential hackers.
