Preview Images Visible

Has something changed recently? For the longest time, I couldn't see images of subsequent posts when previewing my post prior to posting. Images were merely links. I believe this was done awhile back for security reasons. Just now noticed that I'm once again able to view images, again, of subsequent posts.

Maybe something changed in your browser, or in how you were previewing. I don't think anything changed in this area on the forum's end.

Links and images are disabled whenever "sesc=...." is in the URL, since this is sensitive info which otherwise might be transmitted in the referrer.

Something sure has changed. I can't see the images now. The above is what I see now when prior to starting this thread (and hence this thread) I saw all the images on that page when I scrolled all the way down. I solely use standard Chrome as my browser.

BTW, you still owe me $10K or so for bringing to your attention that bracket thingie anomaly I uncovered by accident.

I just did a test post/preview and the following is what I saw:

Yeah I have seen the same thing happening to me when quoting posts. Any tags in the body will be cleared out for security reasons and I am browsing on Firefox. I think this has to do with blocking links to possible malicious content embedded in images. Malware code can be injected or embedded in gif, jpeg, png files etc. so maybe this feature was added to safeguard the forum?

Something sure has changed. I can't see the images now.

If you for example quote someone (by hitting the quote button), the link will contain a sesc= section, hence images are deactivated in the topic summary.
If you write a straightup reply without quotes (by hitting the reply button), the page you're on will not have a sesc= section in it's link and you will be abled to see images in the topic summary.
