Ive been mining bitcoins for about a week now and the results are a bit disappointing :/ I have made 0.01382116 BTC which is about one dollar and seventy cents :L I dont know if this is because the pool or my computer

Here are my video card specs i dont really know if this helps  Undecided

That sounds a little on the low side so it might be the pool. How many mh/s are you getting on the card?

Acording to the wiki https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison#AMD_.28ATI.29

your card should mine between 68-114 MHash/s so
if you go here: http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator
and use 114 Mhash as your number, you'll get the following based on current price and difficulty

Coins   Dollars
per Day   ฿0.01   $1.05
per Week   ฿0.06   $7.36
per Month   ฿0.26   $31.95

So yeah, you won't be making much with that card...


I actually installed this one because it goes a bit faster my computer came with a intel gma x4500 if that mines fister i might use that

I might try it but its like a copy of bitcoin and i think it might not do very well :/
