Can someone please tell me why the last two transactions to this address are still not confirmed.

1EJZgZ2gYoYFDoK3mL8SLwHGD7BVJVuZTN

I think that I have paid more than enough fee.

Thanks

How much fee did you pay? I usually never have problems by using the recommended fee as requested by the Bitcoin Core software, not sure what would happen if I use other software or websites tho.

That much can be viewed when opening up his wallet on a block explorer and checking out the transactions. It looks like he paid a decent amount of fees, so the only thing I can say to you, zoza, is to be patient, sit tight, and wait.

50 satoshi per byte fee is not "more" than enough anymore, but high enough to get your transaction in the next 20 blocks or so. Problem is there's only 12 blocks since 3 hours ago and the latest was 1 hour and 12 minutes ago (which means that you're unlucky.). So your transaction should be confirmed within 6 blocks (or 1 hour average).

Edit:
Whoops. Terrible math in action there. I meant 8 blocks, not 6.

I see, thanks a lot. I always thought that 50 satoshis per byte is more than enough! I guess the times are changing in Bitcoin land and changing fast!

There've only been two blocks in the last 90 or so minutes. that's probably most of your reason right there

All in all it took about 60 blocks to confirm my transactions. I guess this isn't at all about luck or no luck but about full blocks, huge mempool, and block limit. All of this has raised fees considerably in the last few months. I did my research last night! Smiley

If i need fast confirmations, i usually check https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ for the best fee to use... Estimate the size of the transaction, multiply the size (in bytes) by the fee on the website (70 satoshi/byte at the time of writing) and round up (just in case)... This way, you have a really good chance of getting your transactions in the next 1-3 blocks...

Thats one of the reasons i just use online wallets, because when i wanna to moove my bitcoins since there are several transactions being made at once and it usually gets made into some minutes, but be patiente as stated above your transaction should get confirmed on the next hours.

Most online wallets still require you to pay the miner's fee... The few that don't  require you to pay this fee, either handle their transactions off-chain (in their local database) or pay the fee in your place.
You hand over controll to your coins to save a couple cents...

I'm still waiting for mine to confirm. It's been 14 hours...

There's allways the possibility of double spending your own inputs, or using RBF or CPFP

I used Electrum and I have paid 0.000113 for each of the two transactions.

From what I see the fees you paid are 0.00004520 BTC and 0.00010400 BTC. And from what I calculated it's around 20 satoshi / byte. (I am not great on this, somebody could check)
The one with the 0.00010400 BTC fee will go through today. I am not that certain about the other one though.
