Betmatch.is works a bit differently than most sportsbooks. Instead of playing against the house, we match your bets directly with other bettors, only taking a small fee for our services. Because we have no regard for which side wins and how much, we can offer you the best odds and promotions available anywhere.

Make sure to bet from wallets which are in your control as we send your winnings back to your sending and change addresses. For frequent bettors, we recommend you move your bitcoins to a newly generated wallet every now and then for increased privacy. Our minimum bet is 0.001 btc, there is no maximum bet (just keep in mind that bets have to be matched to be accepted). Unmatched bets will be returned as soon as possible after the game has started.

In order to guarantee betting action from day one, we will occasionally make and match bets from our own reserves. For now, we have NFL football, MLB baseball and NBA (pre-season) spreads and totals available for betting. We will be adding more betting options, including moneyline bets, once we confirm that everything is working as intended.

Just go to your site and it seems that your site has a plain design and it is not attractive at all. And i havent check on your odds compare to others like directbet or nitrogensports because what i think that they really gives everything on their design or their ui. Compare to yours site this is not comparable

Hi, thanks for the message. I agree, we went for a minimalistic design for the first version of our site and focused on the core functionality, and with that done we think it's a good time to start talking about the site and getting user feedback. There is certainly still a lot of work to be done on making the site more representable, and you can expect to see visible changes very soon.

As for the odds, for the time being our base odds are 1.97 / 1.97 for games where we think there is an equal chance of each side winning. Tonight we have a promotion for the Dodgers - Cubs game where our odds are 1.99 / 1.99 and we plan on doing a similar promotion tomorrow for the Packers - Bears game. There will be a lot more promotional bets to come!

As excited as I am about our launch today it seems the network is very congested at the moment with only 5 mined blocks in the past 2+ hours, which means that bets may not come through in time. You may want to hold off betting until the traffic gets resolved. Luckily this shouldn't happen more than once or twice a year.

I am on the site as well. All I see is a list of games and that too only 2-3 games in total which are being listed and are asking to send to one particular address. Wouldn't trust it if you don't update it. Right now it seems to have been made without any effort.

That is a fair point to make. However, it's Wednesday night, MLB is on the post-season, NBA hasn't yet started, there aren't a lot of games on tonight and we don't want to put up too many sports before we are sure we can handle them.

We understand that we need to build trust over time with the community. If you're not trusting us enough to play with us just yet, please check back in a couple of weeks, couple of months, a couple of years. Try it with the minimum bet. Or wait to see what others are saying. You'll see that we are here for the long-term and willing to work for it.

Yes, I suppose it could have used a few more days in the oven on the design side (we've mostly been focusing on the back-end stuff) but it's live now and there's no turning back! Tonight we didn't have many games listed because there weren't many games played. We aim to have all NFL, NBA and MLB games on the site for starters, with more sports added later.

What do you mean by this? So the lowest odds that you can offer is 1.97 for every games options? Does it mean like your site having some house edge here? Btw do you have promotion or some giveaway for a new site? Although this is sportbetting but to give some giveaway is a good promotion to attract more people

Remember that bets have to be matched by other bettors for them to be confirmed. The earlier you bet, the better chance your bet has for being matched. Unmatched bets will of course be returned.

While we are in beta our minimum bet is only 0.001 btc (that's less than $1 or 1€) and we look forward to testing our system and paying out some winners.

Sorry, I know this can be a bit confusing. Currently we have MLB, NFL and NBA spreads and totals where the chances are roughly 50-50 for either side to win. So typically our odds for those bets would be 1.97 / 1.97. We don't have moneyline (overall winner) bets yet. We plan on doing frequent promotions that will give you even better odds, for example for tonight's Packers - Bears game we have the odds at 1.99 / 1.99 as mentioned above.

Yes, it is a drawback but it's necessary if we want to offer odds like these - no regular sportsbook or casino can cover similar odds without risking a loss. Ultimately this is about offering more choice to the customers, and as there are already plenty of traditional casinos online it wouldn't make sense to try to do do another one.

We could easily do live sports with the system we have - just have to make sure it's fair to all players so that nobody feels cheated if they miss out on bets in fast-paced games. Thanks for the suggestion!
